Surf II (1983)
A comedic fake sequel makes me think I'm going to hate this movie..but I was wrong, I liked it a lot.
Wonderfully stupid star studded yet basically forgotten comedy until its very recent rerelease. More random boobs then you can count but for a teen comedy of this style its still a surf comedy more then the popular sex comedies of the time. It's Joysticks meets Class of Nuke em High with a dash of Better off Dead. Made 3 years before Nuke Em High but there are many very similar images in this movie. Ironically while not trying to be as shocking as the Troma film, this light comedy has aged to be even less politically correct. But while staring Eric Stoltz its the bazillion cameos of wacky actors that put this right there next to Back to the Beach for me. Eddie Deezen, Tom Villard, Cleavon Little, Biff Mayard, Lyle Wagner, Terry Kaiser and especially the always too cute Corrine Bohrer plus many more . Surfs up, tits out and spliffs lit in this comedy about kids hanging at the beach while their friends turn into surf zombie punkers due to the addictive effect of the evil Buzz cola. Definatly not for the overly serious or those alien to the time period it originally came out , other wise surfs up dude
