New reference for my teensiesona because of some new lore bits I came up for them and I think an update was needed for their look.
Rainer is a very skittish and shy griskin, they don't go outside the land of the livid dead much but when he does he takes on a different form as a way to fit in with the other inhabitants of the glade of dreams. (I headcanon that griskins can slightly shapeshift their corporeal form) Because their normal ghost form just puts too many eyes on em, what a dingus!
It's still the Season of Love, even if it is the last day! Not that these two mind - the months kinda blend together when you're dead.
Really coming down under the wire for @raygirlramblings "Year of Rayman" prompts. I was unsure which ship to draw since I don't really ship Rayman himself with anyone - I was really close to drawing the doomed wizard parent polycule that I have brewing in the background - but then I thought, you know, I could make this really melancholy...
A lot of people think that The First Queen being Dead-Dead rather than Un-Dead is sad, but The First King doesn't see it that way. His rest was disturbed after all! He's the unlucky one! He rarely entertains the question "So whatever happened to The First Queen" very often because it's usually asked by dullards below his station, but she and their many children lived a long, happy life. One day he'll rejoin her but for now, the best he can do is return to The Tomb of the Ancients and share another tiny moment together...
Has been a while since I've last drawn Ales so here he is with my persona. A big advantage of being a human in the Glade of Dreams is that you can just pick up lots of creatures. Not so great is that there are many creatures who can still just pick you up.
