Another exercise, one that I've wanted to try for a long time.

I think in the end I prefer the cartoony style, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy drawing the other one

It was about time that I make another fanart of him. Now that I found my style, he's so fun to draw. Sadly I absolutely have no idea what to do with him so it's just him making a neat pose and looking absolutely trustworthy. I'd probably buy a vacuum cleaner if he tried to sell me one.

My belated entry for Raygirl's "Year of Rayman" art prompt.

I already had this idea very early. I guess I kept delaying the pic over and over again because I didn't want to draw SO MANY characters, especially if 99,4% of them are Rabbids (soon 100%).

I wouldn't say I'm still a hater. But I also wouldn't say I warmed up to them. I just think I made the best I could out of the prompt.

My original idea for Raygirl's YearOfRayman2025 art prompt for October, before I had an artblock and drew the Mr.Frog-thing.

Though there were supposed to be more bad guys in the pic, having a good time, and some tied up teensies, having a not so good time. But after I had trouble putting all of them in one single pic (and the implications about the teensies' fate maybe being a bit too dark), I focused on the characters that mattered to me the most. Which would be one, Dougal, my own OC and Tod, Illegal's OC. It's also supposed to be a gift for her as a thanks for cheering me up when the first half of this year was going absolutely terrible. But apart from that, both Dougal and Tod share a certain fondness for both teensies and Lums, so it only was a matter of time for me to draw these two together.

Though this here is some kind of "Mario Kart-get-together"-situation where the characters, no matter if they had personal beef with each other, just get along for the sake of having them appear together in the picture. Normally Dougle wouldn't even think about sharing and perhaps would even have started a fight.

In the end I'm very proud of the pic. Not only because usually I struggle so much with drawing my own character, but also with shading characters in the dark, especially when there's still a strong light source. And I like both of these features so much <3

(Also these two didn't bother setting any of these edible decorations up. They both heard of a camp nearby where lots of Lums were stored and decided to raid it at the same time. When Rayman and Sibylle came to check, the damage has already been done.)

I also asked for requests on Deviantart. One of them wanted one of the bowser-baloons and another one wanted Bowser's forgotten brother from Lost Levels. Since both had something to do with Bowser, I combined them. I like how this one turned out

Here's Luigi. I love how he turned out, but don't like the rest 100%.

Since this has been the only request so far, I put some more effort into this one instead of making just a small sketch.

EDIT: I replaced the image because the background was to dark for me. Now I like it so much more~

I couldn't make it in time.. So this is a placeholder until I finish the pic I actually wanted to draw. It might not be able to make it to the entries anymore but it's still something I'm looking forward to finsihing it eventually.

About the pic itself.. don't stare into Mr.Globox' eyes for too long. Also Rayman can't be safed anymore.

Again I was procrastinating so much and panicking so hard and had no idea about what to do.

I had some ideas but liked none of them really much. Mainly some which would have been more energetic.

Then, I don't know why, but I was thinking about that part from Captain Laserhawk something something extra title and the scene where that "Rayman" was eating sushi from a nude cow girl while watching TV, seeing that he has just been cast aside and replaced which eventually drove him absolutely mad... I think? I only watched the clips a few times, don't ask me about my general opinion...

Anyway, I got the idea to make a "Good ending"-type about the picture. One where Rayman was watching TV with his closest friends (only Ly here, the rest went home after partying hard) instead of a one-night-stand-stranger, seeing that people still care about him instead of him being screwed over and done wrong.

Also a little shoutout to all the fans.

I don't know what else much to say... I'm actually really tired. But I'm happy how the pic turned out, except the light effects.
