god i love the inclusion of the mythosaur so much, the art is just amazing!!!! it makes me so happy to see the way that temuera morrisons inclusion of his culture in the character has influenced people to do their own research and try to include it too

I honestly didn’t know much about Agen (my memory of the PT is v hazy) but YOU made me love him!!! Now i’m just sad about how little content there is about him lol. I love that in all your fics everyone is like “oh Agen? that sexy zabrak Jedi???” like everyone just KNOWS him as That Pretty Jedi

xD I’ll admit I had almost no memory of Agen in the movies, either, but there are comics with him in them (briefly) and that’s what made me love him so much.

thank u for recognizing that Prospect is a good movie, I feel like I’ve seen a lot of ppl talk shit? /be like “the only good parts are when it’s about Pedro” and when I first watched it I had low expectations but DAMN it’s rlly good!! I have visited where it’s filmed and it rlly is that beautiful, I’m so glad the directors were able to capture it so well. Like yeah it’s not as flashy as most modern movies but the practical effects are great! The found family plot is amazing! it’s just rlly good

LITERALLY!! prospect is actually SUCH a good movie!!! I feel like with small movies with big actors like this one, there is always this inclination to be like “this wasnt a good movie but [x actor] looked really hot so its ok” (knock knock starring keanu reeves aside of course that movie was so mf bad), and like. maybe I just have this inclination to like smaller movies because there always feels like theres more heart and love put into it, but I GENUINELY think that prospect is one of the best scifi movies ive ever seen no cap

like YEAH its not a big production and their funding was like a bunch of crumpled up ones and a shoelace, but I think that adds so much to the atmosphere of the film. also despite this lack of budget, prospect is literally prettier than half of the box office movies ive seen in the past couple years?? small budget movies have to rely so much more on strong acting and writing and the atmosphere to keep viewers’ attention, whereas bigger movies invest more focus and effort into getting big names and doing cgi or whatever, you know what I mean?? and like with prospect, the characters are actually given depth and GOOD character development which is sometimes really difficult to achieve!! anyways. small budget film superiority

re: your tag essay: YES. It’s so annoying because the Jedi/force users basically have a plot breaking mary-sue power, and instead of like, retconning limitations (idk, fluctuating levels of Force, daily limits on Force without hurting yourself, having to draw the Force from beings around you) the writers just... forget(?) that force users can use the force half the time. Half the CW episodes they’re like “we can’t do X thing!” like yes you can. You can literally do almost anything. GAHHH

YES EXACTLY AUUGH it's like, sometimes Jedi are powerful enough to rend metal and throw people around and read minute changes in people's mood, and sometimes they take TEN SECONDS to MOVE A CHAIR from ONE SIDE OF THE ROOM TO THE OTHER. And like you said there's absolutely so many ways they could have resolved this!! Many of which would make the world stronger because it would be some kind of concrete truth to lean on!!

Like obi wan can scronch those two commando droids like it's nothing, but later on ahsoka takes like forty five seconds to suspend and sloooooooowly inch Steela back to safety, which - spoilers- conveniently gives the droid enough time to shoot at her and break her focus. If obi wan scronching the droids would have actually resolved a plot point instead of just looking cool, I guarantee it would have been a minute long affair.

Literally ANY hand wavey excuse could have at least made it less glaring, and you could argue that obi wan is way more powerful than ahsoka, but we've seen living people get tossed around by every level of force user and they don't seem to struggle with it much.
