Alastor x Vegetarian! Queerplatonic Partner Headcanons
Alastor finds out you’re vegetarian when you are eating dinner together in his room and he offers you some venison he prepared for both of you
You decline and get some leftovers to eat instead. Then you explain that you’re vegetarian but he asks you what that is (considering vegetarianism was far less popular in the 20s and his best friend is a fellow cannibal)
At first he finds the concept a little funny because he certainly would never limit his food options but ultimately he respects your choice and would never force you to have food that goes against your moral code
He then has some fun with it when he realises that there’s a whole host of vegetarian meals he’s never cooked before (and Alastor is VERY passionate about cooking - especially for you)
After seeing you having to eat leftovers, he decides to surprise you with the fanciest vegetarian meals imaginable. Frequently.
You can tell he’s enjoying exploring a whole new side of cooking and surprising you but he rarely eats the veggie meals he makes because his bloodlust is too strong
If you do like cooking then you bond over making the dishes with him; if not, then he temporarily bans you from the kitchen when he cooks as a means to surprise you with the final result!
