『•』 TEFAF 2020: 298 art galleries online with only 1artwork:::::::🔺◻🔵@borisgarreau Each art gallery presented only one artwork - it resulted a high quality highlighting of each one - with access to the private data of the official register of lost or stolen artworks (one of the values and advantages of the TEFAF brand in the art world). One of the most beautiful sales stories was for me that of a painting by Hammershøi related to minimalism in American art with Agnès Martin and Mark Rothko. I respect TEFAF organiser’s decision today to close the fair due to the obvious health concern. I really hope everyone who attended this fair is OK. Though I was so grateful that many experts shared their Asai on and knowledge with me when I was there. Especially @ar_pab gallery exhibited very rare life casting silver piece by Wenzel Jamnitzer #wenzeljamnitzer with this amazing catalogue which they gave me kindly 😍 I have been making some life casting silver works since my residency in Australia in 2003, but this made me really want to challenge next level. Also I found very old French anvil dated in 1793. It had engraved side. I came across some of amazingly decorated tools but this is very rare.
