every time he tells his family he’s “quitting” he is really just taking a break so his tolerance goes down

sucks at video games when sober but is really good at them when he’s high (like in “make love, not warcraft.” he is usually sober when he plays with stan so stan will win, but when he’s upset with stan he’ll make sure he’s high first)

Over time they start to bond over their shitty drug-peddling families (well, just Randy in Stan's case.) Tweek loves Stan's death metal music, Stan finds he really enjoys Tweek's energy, and they end up supporting eachother's rehab journeys.

they're both in college at this point, but couldn't afford to leave home yet or it's the summer between terms
