About the needle thing, I got a few shots in my gums a couple months back. It's a pretty big pinch but it's over quite quickly honestly. So at least you'll know what to expect!

I was born with a cleft lip so I’ve had to go through a ton of surgeries, and I’m pretty “used” to getting shots but it somehow never lessens the panic/anxiety, which sucks. If anything, it’s getting worse?? 

I’ve had to get shots in my gums a bunch of times too because of dental stuff and it is decidedly very unpleasant and probably one of the reasons why I’m so scared of needles in general

(I’ve fainted a couple of times just because of an injection. It’s so unnecessary and embarrassing, hahaaaaa)
