Happy Tuesday!! 😃
Teiwaz
Tyr says hi?
Teiwaz just kind of fell out of the bag.
Amida Arca in Bikini!
Started in November. She's one of my favorite women from Iron-Blooded Orphans. <3
Details: Layers - 40 Pixels - 72/in
Love, Death and Cannoli
Series: Wishing on Space Hardware
Fandom: Iron-Blooded Orphans
Ao3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/42369846/
Rating: M (tags/warnings at source)
Pairings: Yamagi Gilmerton/Norba Shino
Summary:
Once upon a time, a group of child soldiers so impressed a member of the Jupiter mafia they were granted the honour of sharing Sakazuki cups with the father of the organisation.
Though those cups are long since shattered, the ties between Tekkadan and Teiwaz linger, drawing Yamagi and Shino into a tangle of complications that threatens everything they've built for themselves.
Art notes:
I started with the Teiwaz logo and worked out from there. I was aiming vaguely for 1930s murder mystery stylings, though I’m not sure I really achieved that. But I am pleased with how I was able to work in the Ryusei-Go logo and the shooting stars. There’s a lot of stuff I tried to put into this that will probably make more sense once you’ve read the whole story!
Tried out a new reading this morning and damn something tells me Tyr made an appearance
Teiwaz: 01/01/20
In addition to my tarot draw for the new year (which was Wheel of Fortune! How fitting), my rune draw provided me with Teiwaz: The Creator.
What does this mean?
Ultimately, this is an extremely positive rune signifying victory in battle and success in competition. Teiwaz can promise us success in our actions but this time without personal sacrifice. From a spiritual perspective, Tiwaz represents a spiritual breakthrough that awakens new levels of understanding.
Drawing this rune reminds me that as long as I try this upcoming year, great things will come my way! Particularly because I drew the Wheel of Fortune from my tarot deck as well.
