If communication between the realms is easier than travel, that does kind of resolve some conflicts in the setting too easily, but holy shit, mini Tir messenger hanging out with Snag and Juniper... sized for Snag to push him around... Juniper tormenting both of them.........

Temporarily size shifting Snag up is still planned eventually, but it'll be kind of different because he'll have to be trying to learn to navigate the world in a different way. He will definitely be subby in that one. But if you give him a Tir that is his size... yeah he's probably gonna be incorrigible.

"Are you sure about this, Niro?"

Those were the first words out of Tir's mouth when Niro opened the front door.

Niro paused, hand resting on the door as he held it open. "Look, I'm not going to make you do anything you don't want to."

The jadeblood gave him a pained look.

"Does that mean you're just going to do it yourself?" Tir stepped forward, and Niro moved aside to let him in.

Niro threw a glance around the clearing outside out of habit, but he didn't see anything except for Remus perched on the shed, and the small van Tir had rented to bring his borrowed surgical supplies.

He shut the door and turned as Tir set his backpack down on the table. "No. But I might find a back-alley doctor, or something."

"Skyrra or someone..?" Tir glanced over, a concerned glint in his eye.

"Skyrra's dead. You didn't hear?" Niro tilted his head.

"Oh. No, I didn't." Tir scratched the side of his neck. "He finally bite off more than he could chew or something?"

"They said it was a suicide." Niro shrugged. Tir took a breath through his nose, glancing upwards- Seeming to accept that news easily.

"Yeah, that's..." Tir trailed off, and then leaned on the table, glancing away for a moment before changing the subject. "Well. If you really want to go through with this, I'll do my best. I know you don't have other options."

"Nope." Niro folded his arms. "I already wrote up a pre-op. You want to check my vitals first?"

honestly at this point in time the vibe with Tir and Snag is definitely that meme with heart symbol on one side and thumbs up on the other

Like there's probably generally been a bit more focus on now attractive Tir is to Snag in this one because it's a new variable, and he's pissed off about it.

But he is so overwhelmingly attracted to Juniper. He will not allow you to forget that she's so smart and nice and beautiful. He's very "Me with the 10 I pulled by... uh... um... I don't know. How did I?"

Trying to decide if writing a line like "her brown eyes practically sparkled" is too cheesy, but the thing is that this is from Snag's perspective, and he really is that cheesy about it.

He's not going to shut up about Juniper's deep brown eyes or Tir's stupid luminous gray ones anytime soon.

The funny thing about Snag is that, yes, he's jealous of Tir in certain ways, but not really the ways you'd necessarily expect. He's utterly chill with Tir touching and having sex with Juniper. This legitimately does not bother him. But as mentioned, he does resent him a little for being able to do things he can't, like fall asleep with Juniper.

He's not even really threatened by their closeness--it isn't that someone else is important to Juniper, that someone else is receiving her love. He's jealous that Tir knows things he doesn't. That they have an easiness with each other and a mutual understanding that he hasn't had time to develop.

Tir, though?

Tir is absolutely jealous.

Not about Juniper. He's totally comfortable in their dynamic. Tir is jealous of Juniper. His heart is irrationally squeezing every time the cute but brusque and wary boy he met a week ago and got off on the wrong foot with is sooooo sweet and nice and confident with her compared to him. 😩 And this started as early as. Probably immediately (post-attack).
