(I'm making their first kiss actually after Teklav's meeting with her parents and his rant at them. So here you go.)
Teklav stood alone in the park, snow falling around him. He hadn't spoken to Mina for days, not since his outburst at her parents. He frowned, annoyed at himself. Why the hell did he do that? "I mean, they deserved it." He thought aloud, "They deserved more than that really. Oh god, Mina is probably pissed at me..." He felt deflated, disappointed in himself. He should have thought more clearly before going off like that. "I should call her. Apologize, if she'll let me." He knew she'd let him apologize. She was always great like that.
He flipped his phone open and pressed 1,her name popping up on the screen. He remembered the teasing he endured when Cytera and the others found out he had hotkeyed Mina's number to the first button on his phone. He shook his head to focus and gingerly pressed the Call button, as if the phone was a dangerous object. He held his breath as he heard it ring, and couldn't help but smile a bit when he heard her pick up. "Mina? Yeah, hey. It's Teklav. I was um... I was wondering if you wanted to meet up? I'm at the park and it's really nice out and I... I wanted to apologize in person." While she responded, Teklav found himself nervous. He hadn't been really nervous for such a long time. Well, that was a lie, he was nervous when he and Mina got back to her place after hanging out to find her family there...
"Oh, you're hanging out with Cytera? Well... Bring her if she wants to come. I could use someone to keep me from chickening out if I fumble over my words." He chuckled at himself, and felt a bit more confident when he heard her giggle in return. "Alright, I'm by the ice rink, on the left side. I'm wearing the really long scarf this time. Haha, yeah, that one. Thanks for coming. Alright, bye." He smiled at his phone as he closed it and slid it back in his pocket and waited.
Mina and Cytera were there in under half an hour, but any part of Teklav that was impatient shut up when he saw them. "Hey Cytera. Thanks for coming, Mina. I jus-" He was interrupted by a tight hug and Mina's voice speaking over his own for once. "Want to learn how to ice skate?" Teklav stared down at her, surprised. He had expected anger or something over what he had done, not... that. He looked over to Cytera, who simply gave him a shrug and a smirk. She was obviously enjoying this, like always. "Um... sure. Cytera, can you hold my bag? My camera is inside and I don't want to fall on it." She gladly took the bag, a devious look in her eyes. Teklav didn't even begin to concern himself about what she was planning. Mina look up at him and held out a pair of skates. "I bought these on the way. It was easy since I knew your shoe size." He laughed as he took them, kicking off his own shoes, "I always wondered why you asked me that."
As they stepped onto the ice, Teklav immediately began to regret this, clutching the railing. "I don't think human beings were meant to balance on sharp blades on fucking ice. Why did I agree to this?" Mina giggled and took some of his scarf, wrapping it around her neck. "There. Now, you've got a tether." Teklav stared at her and the scarf, biting his tongue and deciding not to fight her logic. When they finally got farther in, Teklav began to struggle, looking for something to hold onto. And then he felt Mina take his hand in hers and time seemed to stop. He looked at their intertwined hands like it was something he thought wasn't capable of existing, then he looked at her, and he did something he felt was right for once. He pulled her in and kissed her.
The kiss seemed to go on for minutes, nothing else mattered. Just her and him and this kiss. Then there was a flash of light and snickering, breaking Teklav out of the spell. He pulled away from Mina and opened his mouth, trying to summon an apology. Mina was silent as well, her cheeks red, but then suddenly something came to her. "Was that flash your camera, Teklav?" A short choking scream came out of the boy and he turned to see Cytera holding the camera up and laughing loudly. He slowly unwrapped the scarf from his neck and handed it to Mina. "CYTERA. DAMMIT WOMAN. I'M GOING TO FUCKING... GYAH!" He stumbled to the edge of the rink and began to climb over, Cytera hopping away as she laughed. Mina watched the scene, still partly dazed by everything, and finally laughed as well, skating over to calm Teklav down.
The snow slowed down as they finished the day.
