Are there any people who really miss tektek.org and want to remake it? Like, collect all items and be as great as the original tektek dream avatar? I really miss playing dress up there.

I honestly miss using tektek.org’s dream avatar. It was like the best dress up game ever since it had so many options and new items. I know it helped people make their OCs and all, too. I wish there was a way to bring it back.

I was thinking about Gaiaonline for the first time in forever (that’s what brains do) and I decided to see if the avatar maker site Tektek.org was still up, cause I loved using that thing so much in middle school. Nope. According to reddit, it was taken down in like March due to some dispute with Gaiaonline. Such sadness. Lots of good memories using that avatar creator, lots of hours wasted.

Goodnight, tektek.org (2004-2015). RIP in peace.

Thank you Tektek.org for helping me design my many many characters over the years, even back since I decided to make my stories. Because I lack the talent to draw, you helped give myself the complete or general look of my characters and allowed me to show my friends too. It’s sad to see you go due to bullshit copyright laws pinned on you by Gaia online after 11 years. Goodbye Tektek.org, and thanks for helping me for this long.
