‘Tektu presents’ dance music and youth events

Tektu are a events company that run deephouse, techno, disco and other dance and electronic music events. I love the graphics that they use and how they used vector style imagery to create busy but clean looking images that draw its Target audience in. I want to have this kind of repeated imagery in my style, using subject matters that are a little more underground and dystopian looking like different broken electric bits and wire inspired patters but I will keep there style in mind when doing so. I particularly like the colour scheme of the Tekfest and how it stands out on darker backgrounds, which is what I’m planning to do for my festival as a way to amplify the neon and brightness of the colours. Aswell as this the repetitive pattern of the money is something I’d like to try with my logo when I have it complete as it has an old style feel to it yet I think with the subject matter is a way of bringing that into a futuristic feel; the contrast pushes forward the low-life/high-tech theme I am going for.

TEKTU for days? TEKTU for Tuesdays !

MVSON collective, possibly some of the most vibrant, multi-faceted guys you can bump into up north. They’re the freshest faced DJs you could hope to find lurking down in the funky Joshua Brooks basement. If you're into house and techno then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t have heard of TEKTU. Unless you are… you know… living in a basement. The place we visit every Tuesday night, Joshua Brooks has a warm and welcoming vibe as soon as you walk down the stairs, with two bars on hand and a niche venue, the drinks queue is never more than a couple minutes wait.  The student night created by MVSON collective and Mucky features, TEKTU is where to go to catch your weekly dose of house, garage and a cheeky bit of techno. From the sounds of Shonky-Kotero Mi Amor to Shanti Celeste-Golden the boys are constantly looking for something new to throw our way; MVSON collective vibe off each other and create something special every week. It’s never the same when they invite the likes of Josh Howard, Mitchell Collinge, Zac Stanton, Yousuf Darr, Black Tyles, Josh Baker and more to give TEKTU a different feel every week. Did we mention it’s on a Tuesday? Because really… On a scale of techno to techno, how much techno do you techno? You don't know? Ask the boys... They know. Week after week, when you’ve got a boisterous crowd that you could call family, you get the feeling that you’re coming home - just with sick music and banging company… Though your Nan’s bathroom might be a tad bit nicer. ‘To bring the fun back into the basement scene, to lighten up the mood and to create a banging night’. –Mucky Features.

And Joshua Brooks provides just that. With the sweet smell of rum (can’t go wrong with those £2.50 doubles can we?) and the ceilings covered in brightly coloured ribbons, blow up monkeys and aliens looking out over the decks, they allllll about the funk. You might even come out with a Hawaiian Lei...

Bu olay sadece Borsa İstanbul'da olabilirdi!

Kalamış Yat Limanı ihalesini Koç Grubu’na bağlı Tek-Art Kalamış ve Fenerbahçe Marmara Turizm Tesisleri kazandı. Ancak borsada işlem gören eski Trabzonspor başkanı Mehmet Ali Yılmaz’ın Tek Art Turizm şirketi ihale ile ilgisi olmamasına rağmen borsada tavan yaptı.

Kalamış Yat Limanı ihalesini Koç Grubu’na bağlı Tek-Art Kalamış ve Fenerbahçe Marmara Turizm Tesisleri’nin 664 milyon dolarla kazanması borsada ilginç bir hisse yükselişi hikayesine de yol açtı.

Kalamış ihalesi saat 16′ya doğru sona ererken borsadaki Tek Art Turizm hisseleri dakikalar içinde yüzde 10′un üzerinde değer kazanarak 0,65 liradan 0,71 liraya kadar fırladı ve tavan yaptı.

Ancak borsadaki Tek Art Turizm şirketi ile ihaleyi alan Koç Grubu’na bağlı Tek-Art Kalamış ve Fenerbahçe Marmara Turizm Tesisleri ile bir ilgisi yok. Tek Art Turizm eski Trabzonspor kulübü başkanı Mehmet Ali Yılmaz’ın sahibi olduğu bir turizm şirketi.

ŞİRKETTEN AÇIKLAMA GELDİ Bu yükselişin ardından piyasalarda borsaya kote olan Tek Art Turizm şirketinin bu kadar yükselmesinin gerekçesi olarak yatırımcıların ihaleyi kazanan Tek Art ile borsada kote olan Tek Art’ı karıştırmış olabileceği konuşuldu. Ardından şirketten açıklama geldi. Tek-Art Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi Türkay Yılmaz’dan da konuyla ilgili Bloomberg HT televizyonuna yaptığı açıklamada “İhaleyi alan firmayla ilişkimiz yok” dedi. Açıklamanın ardından Tek Art Turizm hisselerinde günlük yükseliş yüzde 10′lardan yüzde 3,12′ye kadar düştü. Günü de %4.69 primle 0.67 fiyatından kapattı.
