🇲🇽 Mexico | Sea retreats from the coast of Yucatán
🌊 An unusual sea retreat was observed along the coast of Yucatán, surprising residents of Celestún, Telchac Puerto, and Progreso. The phenomenon left piers and parts of the seabed exposed.
🌀 According to preliminary reports, it may be linked to the “Cordonazo de la Santa Cruz”, a seasonal weather event known to bring heavy rains and strong winds around early May.
