Telescoping Effect is hard because I never really had any idea what came next.
They hang up, and Stiles just kind of watches as Derek gets up without a modicum of modesty and goes to shower. He comes back a little later, wet hair dripping down his neck and gives Stiles a saucy little wave before turning off the light. Stiles still isn’t really sure what happened, he knows it was more than phone sex and it put so much truth out in the open that he wants to feel awkward, but instead he feels sated and pleased, happy that he no longer has to pretend that he doesn’t know all these things about Derek now.
Landing needed work. You lose points for the vase falling off the table, but still a 7.5 for managing 4 somersaults.
"Thank you for… the oven," Derek says to him the next night, standing in front of his window with a teasing hand down his pajama pants.
"Can you move to your left?"
"Is this a thing?" Stiles blurts out. "Or are we doing to do this for real sometime. With touching. Of the physical variety."
"Yeah, sure… I can move my bed back against the wall."
Stiles isn’t really worried that Derek will carry through with that threat. Derek loves stretching out in the sun in the morning. ”I can put away my telescope,” Stiles agrees, because he can play the ‘things I have no intention of ever doing ever’ game too.
