Today I learned that the same person, Ramin Djawadi, wrote the excellent themes for these two of my favorite opening sequences/favorite shows. He scores both shows and has written scores for Iron Man and Pacific Rim. So, this fellow knows his way around epic stories of scale and drama.

Opening Theme to It Takes A Thief...jazzy classic, man
Today, I made my first kill in the game of Assassins I'm playing with my friends. So it's only appropriate that today's song be the Highlander theme. If you don't remember/have never seen this show, the premise is that there are a bunch of immortals running around the world and the only way they can die is by another immortal beheading them with a sword. There're more details, but honestly, I don't remember a lot of this show. Just a lot of "THERE CAN BE. ONLY. ONEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" And that's how the end of this game will turn out. With me as the winner.
