huevember day 4: h @ 36 - sever + crystal - tellurite

tellurite is a tellurium-bearing mineral that apparently no one gives a shit about; the ion version is relevant in a chemistry setting, but naturally occurring crystals are tiny, rare, and fragile, and as such are largely forgotten. i mostly picked them out because i was browsing mindat for anything pretty and orange and not SiO2-based, but now i feel like i have to keep an eye out for any samples to collect. rip 2 my wallet. if you see sever and crystal separately, you'd be confused as to how they could ever be together; when you see them in the same room, it becomes clear that they could never ever be apart.
