Griffin has moved in with Uncle Thor. I guess that makes a lot of sense for them, since one lost a lot of money and the other won some.

Gideon said he got a bird to add to the menagerie. her name’s Cobweb, and she’s really pretty.

I didn’t talk with Uncle Thor myself, but I heard something about him having a really exciting day.

I’m guessing that was the puppies. Jessie and Snowball had a littler of four, a girl and three boys. Griffin says he can’t tell the boys apart yet. Uncle Thor named them all Es: Elsa, Ernesto, Excalibur, and Eyrl. I bet they’re all just the cutest!

Mom said that the date didn’t last long after dinner.

She thinks they had fun, but she was more concerned with cleaning up.

Nobody had much else to say about the boys. I’m guessing they had a quiet night.

Idella topped her evening off with a blind date.

Sloane said she was a little worried about who the date was,

but he turned out to be a nice enough, if strange, young man.

Of course, if he’s strange by Sloane’s standards, then he’s probably pretty normal after all.

Mom said she appointed herself their chaperone, because she thought that a blind date needed one.

So she had a bite of dinner, and then hung out and tried not to be in the way

but still be “monitoring the situation”.

Sounds awkward, having your grandma as the third wheel on your first date, but maybe it was a good idea?

When I called Mom tonight, she wanted to tell me about Olivia’s evening.

She had a blind date, which I think is really sweet.

I don’t remember who arranged it, but she was going on her very first date with Blake Peterson.

I saw him the other day, and he looks a lot older than he is. Early hair loss. Hilarious, but also kind of sad.

Anyway, Mom said they hit it off pretty well.
