Revisiting some older OCs, deciding whose stories can be ironed out. I was rewriting one novella from third person to first person (not an easy task- it'll probably need more edits). And my MC Kazuya's first action that wasn't in my original script was to crush on his best friend/rival. He didn't have a defined sexuality before, but now he does. Welcome to the queer community, Kazuya!

There's not a lot of straight OCs left. Just Ace (married in an epilogue I never wrote but consider canon) and Dainn (dating a girl both before and after they were turned into deer-taurs). Everyone else is mostly gay or bi. Leviathan is pansexual, Joran, Jay, and Toby are all asexual, and Kennet and Mino are on the ace spectrum since they're demi (Kennet's really thirsty for That One Guy, while Mino doesn't care for sex and is perfectly happy with kisses and cuddles). I never wrote out any scenes for Pyro's sexuality, but he's gay.

I wrote Jovie to be straight. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, lol.

Looking through my old shit trying to find shorter original works for more serious publication than Ao3. I found one but it's really experimental in terms of writing style. It's inspired by The Music of Dolphins, in which the deer-taur protagonist writes in a simple, child-like manner...until the truth of his world is revealed. I wanna put something a little less quirky out first though.

Anyway, here's the protag, Dainn. Not sure if I wanna redraw or fix him or just leave him alone. I first drew him during a "taur phase", but he's the only character from it to survive. Also thinking of making a plushie of him, which would be my most convoluted yet.

The only scene I am living for, which can rival Tristan and Luna’s reunion, is one where Tristan and Dainn have the talk.

Lives will change. My squeal would be heard for miles. Every bookmark and tab in history will find its place in the book to mark the epic showdown.

I don’t want Tristan to be understanding. I don’t want Dainn to be anything but The Shadowman in that aftermath. As corny as it may sound I want The predator to speak with The shadowman and not Tristan and Dainn, at least for the most.

I want the hostility, the I-dont-like-you-but-cant-kill-you-because-it-would-hurt-lyla rage and the hilarity of it. And I want Dante to be the drama queen that fans the flames. It may not fit the plans Runyx has but a girl can dream.
