" he does . more than he knows how to articulate in a way that’s cohesive to his point . it’s stupid . fatalistic , and lazy . half of the people he’s rehabilitated have been some type of horrific byproduct of the effects of someone else’s neglect , and the neglect they’d suffered , and it went on and on , until it could no longer be traced , and the point of origin becomes lost to time or reason . they’d never had turned out that way , if something had intervened . if someone , had known . and maybe someone had . and maybe , they still chose to do nothing . maybe it was illness , that made them that way . but that made the illness the monster . not the sufferer . “ it sounds too much like , i give up . “
