fun facts: -I did a lot of colour dropping this time. After I established the core colours of each character, I colour dropped from one another to get colours. Eg, choco bibi's red accents are from MSM's red, MSM's blue waves are colour dropped from tempest' blue -This is the all time classic GRG layout (MSM in the centre, bibi on his right hand side (RIGHT HAND MAN) next to tempest, and the other two swordsmen-disciples on his other side) -It's not my choco bibi without my headcanons, this time blindness in one eye (semi-canon) and piercings (cause i can) + With the blindness he matches with Tempest -I vaguely remember that Cocomori had a skill called Arachne or something similar which was a Bibi x Mori team-up skill, but I couldn't find any mentions of that with the webtoon locked and on the wiki. It might be something I made up, but whatever -i thought a bit about how I wanted drip soup's flames to go but i ended up going with how it is even if it's the same direction as MSM's waves because it looks good like that but also cause he's his DISCIPLE!!! -peep MSM's ego sword facing bibi...

Tempest's Uniform Part 2

I have been yelling about things to a friend. I have found new points to cry about. You will hear about this.

(It's quite long so idk sit down and have fun)

(Disclaimer all of this is light-hearted the outfit IS impractical but that's why I love it so much)

Part 1

The old uniform's pretty concise, with a lot of compartments for bullets magazines or healing items. The whole-arm-glove + the abs coverage thing starts here. By the shape of the outfit, I assume he has this whole skin-tight sweater thing that goes under his whole set up. The tall collar is a bit weird but it adds flavour.

Then the new uniform. Someone has had to design this. Tempest would have had to approve of this design. This is a design that could be generated within Lucid Adventure the Game™.

Has the rest of GRG has not had a complaint against this design? Has he not died from someone going straight for his very exposed heart? I don't understand.

Firstly, he wears a jacket outside above his outfit, which he takes off (third image) before battle. From this, I can assume that Tempest gets cold easily. The exposed chest, however, does not do anything to support this claim. The jacket has this weird yellow armband that I'm assuming is just for flavour or a symbol of GRG. Overall, this outer jacket doesn't really look like a pocket-storage thing, so I'm assuming it's for aesthetic or keeping warm.

Secondly, the full arm gloves paired with the exposed chest. It leads me to believe that he's wearing something like this (without the bottom half):

Fun fact this thing, taken off the internet, had the words "boob window" on it.

Thirdly, the OTHER weird yellow armband thing. I'm just assuming it's just a really bulky looking magazine compartment. The padded shoulder blades thing is also weird, but it's the GRG symbol that Soup also wears so I'll let it slide.

Fourthly, this bandaged abs situation. I'm not sure what to make of this, so I'm just gonna say that it's for posture and keeping warm. This also gives me the excuse to draw corsets and extra things (jackets tied to waist etc.) on my designs because extra layers on waist go brrr

Fifthly (are these words anymore), the flapping inner jacket/fabric sheets are a really weird option for extra storage. The cross situation... never mind. The boxes???

Overall,

It's a lot of fabric. He probably has a lot of trouble moving around but is too busy trying to look hot to care about that.

Everything looks super heavy, but everyone in GRG is canonically ripped so who cares.

The entire colour scheme is so weird but I'm living for the yellow-blue pairing. Every other GRG member's colour is really prominent on their regular design (MSM/red, Bibi/green, Coco/pink, Soup/orange) except for Tempest.

His attire is bloody shit for combat, especially as a sniper. Aiming must be so hard with fabric scrunching up at every point around your limbs. You spend a lot of time avoiding shots/healing yourself without Bibi's spatial magic because you have no armour. You have no EAR PROTECTION whatsoever therefore my deaf headcanon.

Finally,

I think this outfit is bloody weird. I love it. It's hilarious. I add more shitty design to it like kneeless pants and toeless footwear for the spice. I make his sleeves longer so they don't scrunch up as much, but become a lot more loose and flowy. I give him hand corsets for no other reasons other than aesthetic.

I get a lot of headcanons about this. They fuel my chocotemp.

ATLA Au

I have 3498 ideas for different aus and 2382948 headcannons but I don’t have the motivation nor time to write anything. One day, though.

Basic worldbuilding/setting: -The Avatar AU, the fire nation is the nightmare nation and trying to kill HCLW, who’s the firebender avatar. Giga/Fire Nation Base works with them and recruit strong benders and fighters. -Magic is still available here, but must be learnt. Anyone can learn magic, and non benders usually take up either magic arts or a weapon to learn to fight. -Avatars in this AU don’t die until they fulfil their “destiny”. They get reborn, until they complete their task. Ethan thought he found his place in Zara’s Guild and was pretty content living with them. He made protecting Armes and the Guild his main goal. After Armes died, he made it his goal to find Armes. Being defeated by Zero, he was confronted by the Gods and told to complete his task (which is not told to him. He’s basically supposed to work it out.) Also his bending rights were revoked. Other main characters: Sora: -Non bender swordswoman -Came from the fire nation, the side that rebelled against the nightmares. Was saved by HCLW. Dark: -Water bender Magician -Uses his magic to fight more than his water -Ironically has a fear of drowning. -When using his water, he uses blood bending and water control more naturally because he’s still a dark magician and apt at dark arts.

Grass Roots: -Bibi is earth bender, he's essentially Toph minus the earth bending competition because he's not dumb enough to enter one and expose himself, plus eyesight. He trains to fight without sight just in case, but can see well enough with glasses. -His parents died of natural causes after he turned 17. To the normal villagers, he’s just a reclusive rich guy living on the inner circles of Ba Sing Se hierarchy, so no villagers really know him. -He inherited all the money after his family died, and moved to a smaller house near the forest big enough for him, Tempest and Soup.  -After his parents died, he stayed for about 5 months before moving to the new house, then taking up Tempest’s advice, took up a nomadic lifestyle. They travel around as a pack and go to different parts of the world. The house is their base, they keep a chest of valuables in a secret vault buried under dirt and stone and visit every few months or so. 

-Tempest is a water bender but he doesn’t bend on main. Was a refugee at earth kingdom when he and Bibi first met (childhood friends childhood friends ch-) -Great grandmother was a water bender who fell in love with an earth kingdom nonbender. Because of this, he passes as a earthbender and is constantly mistaken as one when he says he can bend. -Was traveling with his nomadic water tribe parents and approaching gates of Ba Sing Se when tracked down by Fire Nation. Only he survived, and entered Ba Sing Se. Was “sold” to Bibi’s parents and made a bodyguard for Bibi and they became friends. -Uses water bending only for healing during desperate times, as projectiles. -He also doesn’t actually know how to properly waterbend and he bends with a very earthbender style since he’s been living in Ba Sing Se since he was 7. -Uses projectiles and his handmade crossbow as main weapon.

-Soup is an air bender, also not on main. Uses swords mostly and learns from MSM. He can use air but it's not powerful. Uses air mostly for propelling himself/flying. -Fled from the Fire Nation and took refugee in the Ba Sing Se with MSM as his guardian. Met Bibi and Tempest and became friends. -His bending gets stronger as they train. They use it as a form of transport and as defensive invisible barriers. -Uses his bending to boost his hits sometimes and to make his (very large, bulky and heavy) sword lighter. 

-MSM is a really powerful water bender who found Soup on his journey. Picked him up from the fire nation (where he was trying to escape from. He was a child air bender that Nightmare captured) and they went around training before settling in the Earth Kingdom.  -Is a swordmaster and doesn’t use his water bending as often. However, his bending skills are perfect and if without his sword, will fight with bending.  -Water bending is mostly used as attacks, freezing to form swords etc. Not much of healing. -After Bibi started going around, he went to the Fire Nation and started teaching swordsmanship there, scouting out good disciples and helping any defects leave the fire nation.

-Coco. Fire Nation defect/”Nightmare traitor” like Sora. Learnt under MSM before realising Giga treated people like shit and decided to leave. -Lives with MSM now and helps other Fire Nation people. -Non bender, swordsman main also. Is quite muscular due to vigorous training. -Was a mercenary for Giga before. Realised how terrible living conditions were in Giga/Fire Nation after visiting the Earth Kingdom with MSM

More Chocotemp HCs

-Bibi smells like strawberry and candies. Flowers, sometimes. Irl, a lot of graphite and paint. Also coffee.

-Tempest smells like honey and gunpowder. Stardust, if that was a real thing (probably is in Lucid Adventure). Irl, like soap and deodorant. Bathes a lot.

-I associate Tempest with stars and galaxies a lot, and angels if you couldn’t tell. Headcanon in some AUs that Tempest, Soup and sometimes Secretary Kim are related in Holy Bloodline, perhaps cousins. 

-Bibi channels negative emotions into anger. He doesn't cry, or show vulnerability in front of others but instead turns it all into rage. Tempest or Soup do something foolish on the battlefield? Scared to his wits end and converts it all into anger and yells at them. Someone close to him dies? The anger's already there, but it's fueled by his sadness too. Gets targeted by the enemy again, being the "weak spot" of the team? Stubborn to a fault, refuses to cave in, survives on his will and anger. It's all masked over one umbrella emotion of anger, so most don't know how he actually feels. Only Tempest and MSM can accurately understand his feelings, Soup and Coco later on after spending more time with him. 

-Tempest will listen to anything that sounds good. As long as it's a bop, he can vibe to it. He listens to a lot of Cavetown and Ricky Montgomery, but also things like Skillet and Get Scared. He's especially interested in western songs, because western literature is his major. He always takes a look at the lyrics too, and analyses them lightly. He’s good at memorisation but doesn’t sing aloud, even when alone. Only does it in front of others, ironically. Enjoys singing with BIbi.

-Tempest doesn't smile often. It’s just not natural to him. His default face looks stern and most people don’t try to approach him because of that. He’s also quite hostile to strangers and protective of the other guild members. Smiling is tiring.

-Bibi learns sign language for Tempest. Sometimes they communicate like: Bibi: *signs something* Tempest: *replies verbally* It’s really odd for others to see. Also quite funny. You can hear the conversation they’re having but only from Tempest’s replies. They only do this if Tempest doesn’t have his hearing aids.

-They chill with each other at the dorms. Bibi can play the ukelele and Tempest likes to lie on his legs while they sit on the bed. They sing together while jamming to tunes. 

-Tempest WILL write poems and songs for Bibi. He’s a hopeless romantic. Bibi WILL draw Tempest in his school projects. He is also a hopeless romantic. They secretly base assignments and graded things with the other being their muse.

-Bibi can do makeup, and he likes using Tempest as his test subject.
