Late to the party, but finally started reading The Night War last night. I’m up to Oct ‘44 and good god. It might be the most original, best researched, most astonishing fic I’ve ever read in any fandom. And I read a metric fuckton of fic. The effort that must have gone into writing this! I would pay money for The Night War. I would buy it as an actual book (as it is I’ve downloaded it to my kindle). It’s a master class in both fanfic and historical fic. I can’t stop reading. Wow. Just wow.

TNW fic is my baby so I will happily and totally unrepentantly receive any and all ‘late to the party’ comments readers are willing to send my way. :D I hope you enjoyed the rest of the fic from Nov ‘44 on -- in my opinion the back third of the fic is by far the strongest :) Thank you again!!!

Hi. I've been trying to find a fic I read a year or two ago, which revolves around Felicity being kidnapped (super vague, I know, sorry). All I remember is she was held prisoner in a gross little motel room out in kind of the middle of nowhere, but there was a diner nearby and I think there may have been a helicopter involved in her rescue. And the epilogue involved her and Oliver being married and going back to the tiny nowheresville to visit some sort of charitable thing they'd set up there.

Question your negative thoughts, don't just accept them. Our brains lie to us. Pick one and say "why do i think this about myself? What is the evidence for it? What's the evidence against it? Is there a better, alternative thought?"
