Pancake Surprise // Tace
it was another day of ace blocking himself from the outside world. he was growing pretty homesick and was debating on just leaving this place and returning back home. of course, the weakness of the human emotions were keeping him locked right in his apartment. he needed to check up on ivy, he didn’t want to leave neil, he really needed to catch up with areum, and damn that tempest chick. she was intriguing, and he was interested to see her again. of course, what made him okay with this thought was that she wasn’t the kind of girl you bring home to momma, even if he didn’t have one. they both seemed to have one thing in common, and that was lustful nights were their main drive. anything beyond that was simply a waste of time. at least, that’s how the woman came off.
he had acknowledged her text messages, coming up with lies as to why he couldn’t hang out. he had even made up a lie to neil, who he didn’t mind seeing any time, anywhere. ace was simply in his isolation phase. it came, it went, he got over it. people around him back home knew this and knew when to give him space. but people around here? most likely not. as his frame laid along the couch, flipping through the channels that held nothing, he was caught off guard when he heard a knock at his door. a sigh escaped his lips, thinking it was most likely ivy here to bother him again. he wasn’t in the mood for another one of the encounters. taking a few seconds to climb to his feet, he looked through his peep hole, his heart rate pacing a bit quicker at the new face that stood behind the door. checking to make sure he didn’t look like a total mess his black t-shirt and ripped jeans, he counted to three and opened the door. “y’know, when people say they have a hot date with their couch and a bag of potato chips, it usually means they’re busy.” his famous smirk crawling upon his features.
