Now for something different:) A quick pencil portrait of my daughter from the weekend I was incognito. Angela asked me why I'm always drawing Demonic comic book stuff... I had no answer so I decided to surprise her by drawing Ellie. I would like to credit Tempest photography for their fantastic work as I used their photo for reference. I believe the hard work was done by them. I always think unless you can get a live model... or a model who can sit still for more than a few minutes ;) the photographer's skill is key to the success of the portrait. I feel the same way for wildlife art. I've scribbled and splattered a few animal pics before and even if I did a hundred more I would'nt consider myself a wildlife artist as the photographer would have done all the hard work....
