Yeah, Polly’s definitely going to Newtopia University when they get back to Amphibia, with how she learned and became fluent in Thai in what I’m assuming was a few days and then gaining knowledge and expertise in robotics and engineering in just a few hours from watching YouTube videos.

ok, so i think everyone is probably freaking out over this bit because of the implication that anne has read marcy’s diary enough times to be able to translate the runes, and after reading this thread on twitter i can safely say i am Scared™️ 😃😃

yeah so uh are we gonna talk about the fact that anne has marcy’s journal???????

cause no wait actually. imagine the fanfic potential this has. imagine anne not wanting to read it cause it’s private, but also knowing marcy had a bunch of important research in there. so she reads stuff but feels guilty about it. and then imagine she ends up reading some like really personal shit???

imagine the angst of anne reading marcy’s vents about like... how it felt watching her leave!! talking about how alone and helpless marcy feels and how they understand her decision but it still stings

or anne finding out through reading that marcy’s in love with her and/or sasha!! and this could come in so many different forms, it could be like... initials drawn inside a heart, or a bunch of drawings that don’t have a real reason for being there. or maybe poetry, or maybe just straight up diary entries where marcy talks about how gay they are!!

and also, imagine the angsty marcanne yearning of like, marcy having written about a bunch of the things they were interested in and anne almost feels like they’re right next to her infodumping, but she thinks they’re dead
