It's amazing how many people will debate where someone should hold their gun when not engaging enemies. Some ways are better than others, but to my limited knowledge there isn't ONE way that trumps ALL ways. They're situational dependent, dependent on the weapon system, and dependent on your body mechanics. I'll give an example: in vehicles and in close proximity to buddies, I hold my gun at high port. I don't touch my head with my thumb, I just keep the gun elevated upwards. Could I flag people in upper levels above me in an urban setting? Maybe. If that's a possibility I might take a low ready with my firearm. The answer I almost always give people asking about things like this is... "It depends". #templeindex #firearmsafety #highport #multicam #trijiconrmr #teamrmr #glock #glock19 #vehiclefighting #triggerdiscipline
