Yay! Another new chapter! I have been so excited for the Aquamarine/The Trial Arc. I’m positive the only reason Steven beat Bluebird and Aquamarine so easily in SUF is because of time constraints. Aquamarine was so strong in SU that she took down Alexandrite. She was also capable of simultaneously freezing all humans, crystal gems, and Steven without straining her powers. If Jasper could defeat SUF Steven, then Aquamarine also should’ve been a threat to SUF Steven. So, enjoy dangerous Aquamarine! Also, if you’re wondering who Jam is, Connie came up with a codename since they can’t call her Connie right now in case Aquamarine overhears. This chapter also time skips a bit between events that happened in the previous chapter. Y'all may want to re-read that so you know when the events are happening in this chapter.
I'm gonna be going on a small hiatus until July because I have a big exam in July. Since you won't be getting a June chapter, I've made this chapter longer to compensate. Almost 3500 words! I hope y'all enjoy it!

Finally! Dear me, it took so long to finally make it but we are here at the Aquamarine Arc! I’m so happy to be here. I’ve dreamed about how I wanted to handle this arc for so long. Now I can finally share my version of following events instead of straining not to spoil anything! Hoping to update monthly, but we'll see how things go. Graduation year so things are crazy right now. Thank goodness I pre-wrote this chapter back in the beginning of February. See y'all in April for the next update!

Here's the second chapter! Longer than the first and another time point in Steven's life leading up to his appearance in Templeschool. These chapters are a bit more disjointed since it's hints of Steven's mental state leading up to his discovery of the hourglass. This was the idea that I couldn't let go, so I did have to retcon Templeschool because originally my story happened before Prickly Pair. Not much changes, but I will go back and eventually edit it.

I just want to say thank you. Thank you all so much for reading this story. As E3m0nch0 pointed out to me, it’s been 7 months since I started this story. To think it’s finally finished is bittersweet, and I can only hope I’ve created a satisfying ending for you all. I started this story because I was in love with @sutimetravelau’s Into the Universe. If you haven’t read it, please go check it out! It’s so good!

Summary: It’s been about a week since Twoie reverted back to his original form. Although he’s still dealing with his issues, things have been a lot better. His dad is visiting a lot more often, he and Steven have found a new mom in Priyanka, and the gems are actively learning how to avoid hurting the brothers again. As Twoie enjoys the changes in his family, he has to decide what to do when the hourglass is fixed. Should he leave? Or should he stay?
