this year it was cancelled and forbidden by the government. a community said they will literally beat the shit out of 'faggots' if they try to gather. but they did and they came along. a few lgbt members were hurt but no one died. and me, i was on my way to work during the pride and a few people tried to hurt me and told me i was dressed like a whore bc i was wearing a jean and a t-shirt which showed my arms. so yea, this is the story of 2016 pride in İstanbul
