I was in this horrible trailer park that was just overrun with cats, it was awful, picking up some rats (& also a hamster, but that was unexpected!). Most of the cats were pretty plain, but I then saw this gorgeous one. I remarked on how pretty she was & the owner said if I could catch her, I could take her home, so home with me she came. Her name is Acacia. She tested negative for FeLV & FIV & is getting fixed & vaccinated in a couple of weeks, then she’ll be ready to be adopted!
Lovely little foster Acacia is getting fixed in a couple of weeks & then hopefully will find a home soon after!
Picked up new foster cats last week. Super hectic right now but all their vetting will be done by the end of the month so hopefully they'll get homes quickly. This is Aspen, she has kittens named Oak and Juniper. I already had Acacia and I also have two older adults, Linden and Laurel. The themed names please me far more than they should.

Humphrey was a foster who got rehomed a few months ago. He had been at the pound for a bit, I have been volunteering there as a photographer for over a year & he was one of my favorite cats they’ve ever had in. He kept getting passed over due to a lump on his head--it had been examined by a vet & determined non-cancerous, but it was unsightly & felt gross when he bumped up against you. They got full & were going to have to euthanize someone, so I volunteered to pull him & adopt him out myself. I took him to the vet & had the lump removed, found him a home shortly after. He was a cool dude, I miss him.
