Everybody in my group thought I'd gotten kidnapped because I just stayed with my host family instead of hanging out with the group. My sister introduced me to her friends who are amazing people and also I went to Tempo twice.
Plus we were the first ones to go to Italy so we had no idea what we were doing when we were in Rome and we were all jetlagged beyond reason and every time Petroski got all snippy with us we started laughing. Like, we were on some important bridge and Maddy was complaining about how tired she was and Petroski was like "You knew it was going to be like this," and she said, "I did not know it was going to be like this," and for some reason all of us thought that was hilarious and we all but fell over laughing.
And then when we tried to go home, there was some huge storm and all the airports were shut down so we had to stay a night in this super sketchy motel on the outskirts of Milan and I got stuck in the elevator with two of the seniors who went on the trip.
So it seems like this year's Italy trip was more organized.
