What do you think the logic happens if one of the clones dies from mundane causes and their card is just fine? I assume they can die that way, anyway. Do they return to the Card World automatically or does their dead body have to get manually put back in the card? Are they just fine if they’re re-summoned by the same person, or is it like a semi-reincarnation thing where they just forget everything because of magic (and also maybe trauma, depending on the circumstances) reasons? Is it actually some weird mix of both for either of those things? I dunno!
This obviously probably isn’t a question that’ll ever be concretely answered, but it’s been nagging at me for the past two hours and I need a second opinion.
So this is something I've thought about and that probably comes as a surprise to no one
So here are the two most reasonable options in my mind
1) the clones can just respawn by Fëdor summoning them again. I think when dying either their bodies disappear, or Fëdor has to unsummon them where they return to the card world, regenerate, and then get summoned back.
Or. And this is something I've really wondered about:
2) if a clone dies, they're gone.
What if when you resummon them, they're not the same person?
The card was reset. The clone died, gotta make another. A completely new clone with a bit of a different personality that still connects with the theme of their suit obviously. It will never be that person again. It's not their fault. But everyone will always look at them and see someone who isn't there
Imagine one of the clones dies, imagine they need to deal with this
