“Alright Ciel, I’m heading out. I’ll see you tonight!” Sebastian’s voice echoed in the tiled foyer of his house as he shuffled his jacket onto his shoulders.

“Hold on!” Ciel’s response ricocheted down the empty hall and bounced down the stairs, strange and disjointed, as if the house itself was speaking. Sebastian could hear him fumbling upstairs in the bedroom, and he tapped his foot impatiently and checked his watch one more time before grabbing hold of the doorknob.

“I have to go,” he called up to the landing, “I’m running late. Call me if you need anything.” He turned and twisted the doorknob, pulling the door open before he heard the clumsy footfalls on the stairs.

“Wait.” Ciel came barreling around the corner, half dressed, one arm through his shirt, his hair still a mess, flat on one side from where he had slept curled up besides Sebastian. Sebastian frowned; even though Ciel was adorable, he didn’t really have time to wait on him.

“What is it?”

Ciel grabbed him by the arm and steadied himself as he rose on his tiptoes. Their lips brushed together, lightly, Sebastian a little taken aback. Ciel only caught the corner of his mouth, having not correctly gauged his own aim or Sebastian’s surprised reaction. He could taste the cherry Chapstick ever so faintly, and it made him smile as he relaxed back on his heels.

“Okay,” he said, sliding his arm the rest of the way through the sleeve, “have a good day. I’ll see you tonight.”

Sebastian was still somewhat stunned by his soft little goodbye kiss, completely uncharacteristic for his lazy little bean of a boyfriend, and though he really wished he could drop his briefcase and pick Ciel up and pin him to the door and kiss him for real, he was already late enough as it was. He shook his head and smiled, “Bye, Ciel,” and he was out the door.

i think it counts! i’m gonna talk about new vegas a lot because...i want to tbh

Favorite character: ARCADE GANNON!! god i love that boy. and veronica santangelo. and yes man. and cass. and julie farkas

Worst character: uhhh cook-cook and caesar

OTP: arcade gannon/my male courier lmaoo i just love the idea of arcade finding comfort and home in someone since that’s what he’s been searching for his whole life. and veronica/christine obviously.

NOTP: idk i guess anything involving caesar

Greatest emotional moment: veronica’s quest “i could make you care” is so sad to me because there’s no way for it to end in a way where veronica will be happy at the end, which i know is realistically but still, :(

Most excitable moment: bringing boone to caesar’s fort and killing him with boone fioefawf i just love Revenge

Favorite series trope: the courier not knowing what things are. like chicago and fish

Series pet peeve: hmmmm i’d have to think about this more complexly so for now i’m just going to say i wish that the rest of the games (aside from 1 and 2) were as good as new vegas because 3 and 4 just fall flat

Opinion on the writing: new vegas is in a league of its own when it comes to storytelling in fallout games. it’s really good and the characters and story are what drew me to the game and made me fall in love with it.

Overall review of series: i’ve only played 3 and new vegas and watched playthroughs of 4, but new vegas is the best (from the modern fallout games--haven’t played 1 and 2). i love the concept of fallout but often the story isn’t always like...the best. but new vegas is so good. obsidian make another fallout game.
