Tendou Satori and Ushijima Wakatoshi have been living in their new home for 3 months now. Wakatoshi’s volleyball career has never been better, while Satori has recently started his own dessert catering company.

Despite living the perfect life they’ve always dreamed of, Satori can’t help but feel lonely with all the time Wakatoshi spends out of the house.

His solution? A pet!

Yes, everything is perfect, but it could be purrfect instead! -------------------- Goshiki Tsutomu is the only Hybrid from his litter left at the pet store. No one wants an omega Hybrid that looks like him.

Tsutomu just wants a chance to prove himself. A chance to be loved!

No mercy from the Guess Monster. [Haikyuu! - TenGoshi]

Goshiki falls prey to the monster of Shiratorizawa.

The sound of athletic shoes squeaking across the floors of the hallway was the only thing that could be heard as Goshiki ran for dear life. The gymnasium was empty, for most of the other Shiratorizawa players had gone home already. He was completely alone, the perfect target for a guess monster.

With blood pounding in his ears and excitement gripping every cell in his body, all he could think of was outsmarting his pursuer. As he bolted down the empty hallways, eyes darting from door to door while he analyzed which path to take, his heart skipped several beats when he heard slow, heavy footsteps approaching from behind.

Go, go, go! He screamed silently, darting into a random room once he turned the corner. There was no time to think. He had to hide!

He found himself in a dark room filled with large plastic boxes and random athletic equipment piled on top of one another. Success! It was the perfect place to lay low. He leapt behind a pile of old volleyballs in the corner and sat very still, doing his best to get his frantic breaths under control.

A few seconds passed uneventfully. He began to wonder if he was in the clear, but the door burst open as soon as the thought crossed his mind. His hands flew to his mouth instinctively, masking a tiny yelp. A familiar voice rang out through the darkness, making his heart skip a beat from giddiness.

“Bang, bang… keep on breaking them…”

Goshiki shuddered at the ominous tune. Until now, Tendou’s singing had never really bothered him. Mostly because it was always aimed at their opponents. But now that he was on the receiving end…

He listened carefully, trying to pinpoint his senpai’s location as best as he could without being able to see him. It sounded like he was on the other side of the room, rummaging around some of the empty boxes. Goshiki peeked over the stack of volleyballs he was hiding behind, catching a flash of red hair right as his knee bumped into a metal pole.

“What, you say?”

Tendou spun around, aiming his question at Goshiki’s hiding spot. The first year managed to duck before the middle blocker had seen him, but he sensed him getting closer and closer. His mind raced a mile a minute, playing through endless scenarios in his mind as he tried to decide the next course of action.

If I make a break for it now, maybe I can run past him in time…!

“Break the little first year…”

Goshiki choked back a whimper.

It was a long shot, but he had to try. He wasn't going to just give up and let him win. 

Bracing himself for yet another chase, the first year crouched low and prepared to make another dash to freedom.

“I’m gonna find you eventually… come out, come out, wherever you are...”

Goshiki felt a cold shiver crawl up his spine. He crouched down, got ready to jump, and then-

“Gotcha.”

“...AAAH!”

Goshiki cried out in shock as Tendou suddenly appeared in front of him. Backed into a corner, there wasn't anywhere he could go. The middle blocker pushed the unused equipment out of the way and leered down at Shiratorizara’s future ace.

“Tendou-san, please!”

“Bang, bang… keep on breaking the little first year…”

“Mmmph! Ha…!”

Goshiki fought back a smile and bit his lip to stifle the laugh bubbling in his chest as Tendou’s hands clamped down on his sides. His fingers were still, but just feeling them resting there was enough to make him squirm. He grabbed both of his wrists, trying as hard as he could to push him away, but Tendou’s grip was strong. He could see the corner’s on his senpai’s lips turning up ever so slightly, like he was amused to see him fighting it back so desperately.

“Bang, bang, bang...”

Tendou poked him randomly at every “bang” and seemed to relish Goshiki’s nervous, panicked squeals. He was barely touching him, yet it had such a huge effect! It was hard enough stifling his reactions now, he knew he wouldn’t be able to hold back when things got more intense...

Then, all of a sudden, Tendou’s fingers dug into his skin right at the base of his lower ribs. The sensation slammed into his brain and sent fireworks through his nerves. Goshiki let out a loud shriek before descending into laughter.

“No! No no no noooO-ahahahahaa!”

Despite flailing his arms and legs in every direction, Goski couldn't fight off Tendou’s tickle attack whatsoever. His senpai was unrelenting; his fingers pinched and prodded all over his waist, digging in at hyper sensitive areas like the sides of his chest to make him holler and scream even louder. It was an intense visceral feeling that got harder to fight against the longer it went on. Within a few seconds, the first year was already on the verge of losing it. He squeezed his eyes shut and threw back his head, clutching Tendou’s arms to try and push them off. Which only made him tickle harder.

“Ahahahahaha! Why!! Why do you ahahahalways do thi-EHEHEHE!!”

“Mhmhm…”

He wasn't sure if Tendou was purposely ignoring him, or if he was just that fixated on tickling him. He hummed a little tune while he goosed his fingers up his sides, pausing at his underarms when he started bucking and squealing. He always honed in whenever he found a super ticklish spot, slowly increasing in speed and pressure until Goshiki was practically screaming. The poor guy’s face was already bright red, and only two minutes had passed.

“Tehahahahndou!! Pleeheeheease!!”

“Mhmhmmhmm…”

He realized a little too late that begging was probably just spurring him on more. Goshiki tried rolling over to one side, but Tendou just followed him, latching into the hollows of his arms while his kouhai spluttered out pleas for mercy. It tickled so bad! Surely he was going to die if he kept this up!

Fortunately (or unfortunately), he didn’t die, he just kept thrashing around as Tendou jumped from spot to spot. He clawed the back of his ribs, prodding the soft spots in between each bone while Goshiki cackled in response. He snuck under his shirt and skittered his nails all over his stomach, making his double over and cross his arms over his belly. And whenever he tried defending a spot, Tendou would just move to another vulnerable area to throw him off and make him squirm more. What made it worse was when the middle blocker started making those little “tikitikitiki” sounds while he worked, making Goshiki blush even more. It was absolutely too much!

“TAHAHAHAHAA! TenDAHAHAHOW!! Pffft, gaaaah!”

“Tiiiickle tickle tickle...!”

Goshiki’s laughter steadily increased in pitch and volume until his words became nothing more than impossible babbling, and Tendou finally backed off when it got to be too difficult to understand him. He stood up with a smirk, looking down at the disheveled first year like he was prey. The future ace was still giggling through his haggard breaths. 

“That's… ha! ...so cruel…!” He managed to spit out, his shoulders still heaving. “Why... why me!!”

“Hmm?” Tendou looked at him with genuine confusion. “If you didn't want to be chased, then why did you run?”

Goshiki’s eyes widened as he felt his face heat up from embarrassment. Of course Tendou saw right through him. His observational skills had proven to be just as useful off court as they were during matches. Things like this happened every time he ran away from the middle blocker after biffing a serve or a combo. He knew that. But he did it anyway, because… because...

Well, in truth... because he liked the attention.

Oof. I went through two different false starts before settling on the pairing and idea for this exchange, but that's half the fun. Plus, I got to write Goshiki for the first time. Thanks for the opportunity, Delta! I know I couldn't work with your absolute favs, but I hope you enjoy!
