sweet, quiet, nerdy tenya from a failed talking stage on a dating app who asks if youll accompany him to an (illegal) car show downtown in “the red dress from dec 18 2023 on your instagram” and he’ll treat you to dinner before and dessert after “if you don’t mind. i know it’s a weird request”

and why not. you still have the dress, you have better shoes to go with it, and you think he was perfectly nice (but your messages delete after 30 days and you’re not digging in your diaries). plus, it will be a good story at girls night.

it’s when you step out of your apartment complex and see him leaning against his car with roses that you realize he’s in the car show.

i have a fullblown fic of this but its in third person so ive been thinking so hard about how to respond to this....

but tenya and i meet at my latebloomer debut... his parents think it's time for him to get married and my daddy agrees. he's the nicest one there (and the youngest) and absolutely woos me by being a perfect little gentleman. we live so far apart, so he keeps it alive with long long text messages and bouquets.

he visits as often as he can, and i think i fall madly in love with him first. tenya falls in love with me after i meet his family and they adore me. funnily enough, a big push into falling in love with each other is because our families like the other.

i fall first but i think we fall equally hard... i think he's hung the moon and he thinks that he was put on this planet to hang up the stars as well for me. or families love us... they think i'm silly enough to balance out tenya's seriousness and we're awkward in complementary ways....

sugar - what is something that you do (or say) that flusters them? and how do they fluster you?

oughhhh i have this very clear image of telling him i want to have babies and that we should start trying and i think it flusters him so bad... other than just me in lingerie under his robe that is so big on me.... he loves lingerie under his monogramed house robe...... he flusters me by randomly flexing his muscles when we're talking... he does it in the kitchen when he's making us breakfast smoothies, in the bathroom when we're doing our skincare routines (even when he's doing his nighttime routine before going to bed after night patrol and i'm doing my morning routine), at the restaurant when we're eating and he sees me try and snap a picture of him.
