Was rewatching some Vigilantes clips for AMVing purposes; I really like that Tensei's suit has some kind of either a) supplemental engines or b) way of distributing thrust higher up onto the tricep.

Idk if I've ever said it here, but I've babbled before about how his Engine placement is REALLY inconvenient and probably high risk for injury. Maybe this mitigates it a bit!

Or even just. makes it easier to use in a way that feels solid…

For demonstration's sake: Imagine trying to use a lot of force in your hand (whether for a punch or whatever else. the example I was thinking of was ripping the door off the catbus).

But. The only place the force is coming from is, like, someone behind you pushing square on your elbow.

Now imagine they're pushing on your tricep. Little better, right? It's a neat piece of support gear, I see its purpose.

It's a small thing but idk I've liked hammering out that Tensei's quirk placement is pretty inconvenient, limits him to mostly true speedster feats as opposed to Tenya (Tensei CAN throw a punch with Engine, sure, but his shoulder is getting dislocated immediately at best, and I don't know if he can do anything about that), and might very well be the most inconvenient Engine placement in the family. I feel like it kinda unlocks some things that make his character a little easier to write. Tensei's never in his life been an underdog and I don't think that he has. I do think that Recovery Girl saw him in high school an amount that embarrassed him.
