AHHHHHHHH THIS IS SO SWEET THANK YOU 💞💙💜💕💖💝
And with this feeling I'll forget, I'm in love now.
Thank you psychicpurprlewindmill for tagging me! The rules are pretty obvious. If you're tagged (or even if you're not) answer the eleven questions at the bottom and add eleven more of your own. And if you can't think of any, just go ahead and copy the ones I answered above. It's no fun if you don't share the game :)
1. If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, which one would it be?
Oh, I suck at favorites, and I'm more a tv show than a movie person. But I suppose, just because it's a childhood favorite, I'd have to go with the Star Wars original trilogy. And I'm going to be a brat and choose all three.
2. What’s one thing you’d change or add to the life/story of one of your favorite fictional characters?
The ENTIRE fucking ending of HIMYM. (Except Lilly and Marshal can more or less stay the same.) If I have to pick just one change, I would make it so that last episode never happened.
3. If you could rid yourself of a bad habit, what would it be?
Procrastinating. For example, I should be studying for my GRE that's tomorrow . . .
4. What is your dream vacation?
Anywhere warm, that requires a bit of adventure, and animals. On horseback through castles in Europe, or on an African safari, or scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef. I really can't pick just one.
5. If you could travel in time, where/when would you visit? (feel free to explain your reasoning)
I would want to go at least a hundred years in the future, but I'll take anything after that as well. I want to see how we progress as a species, both socially and technologically. I want to see what civilizations rise and fall, how our societies (hopefully) become more accepting. I want to know if we find a way to sustainably harvest from our planet, that kind of thing. Or, you know, if everything really does go to shit. I'm curious either way.
6. What’s something you’d like to do before you die?
Most people have a bucket list of things they want to do, but I have a bucket list of things I want to learn. I would love to re-learn Spanish (I used to be quite fluent). Or learn how to use a gun. I want to learn how to be more tech savvy or learn how to work on a car engine.
7. What are your pet peeves?
Clogged toilets. It sounds weird, but I literally have nightmares about them.
Back seat driving or messing with my music / making fun of my music, when I'm the driver, especially in my own car.
Unnecessarily gendered items. I found sunscreen for men the other day. Wwhhhhyyyy????
I hate underhand fighting, like snarky comments or spreading rumors. I'm totally fine with people who are in bad moods and just need to shout, throw things, or be alone for a while. But if you're mad or sad, just be that. Don't hide behind snotty comments meant only to bring down those around you, especially if they're said in front of others. Or making up lies about someone just because you hate them. If you have to make shit up for them to seem worse, they probably don't deserve that much hate in the first place. And I especially hate when men act like they don't do this just as much as women do.
8. If you could un-know (or rather, forget) something, what would it be?
I almost drowned in a river a few years ago and I've always hated how much it scared me and made me afraid of swimming since them. I used to swim in the ocean just fine but now I'm scared to swim in a calm lake without my feet touching the water. So I wish I could forget that so I could fully enjoy water sports again.
9. What’s something you like about your country?
I don't really have experience with other countries to compare to, but I do like the diversity in recreational activities here in America and how accessible they are. From fishing, hunting, horse back riding, hiking, snowboarding, skiing, four wheeling, and ALL the sports; american football, soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey, lacrose, rugby, etc. I love how almost everybody has their one hobby in at least one of these and each has their own little cultures built around them.
10. Describe a dream, any dream, that you remember having (if you don’t mind)
I had a really cool dream the other night where I was a mutant (like from x-men) and I got taken in by a group of people that I thought were really nice and were helping out other mutants like me. So I convinced a bunch of other mutants I knew (including a girl who ended up being my girlfriend in the dream) to join me, but then they trapped us and started doing experiments on us. But we were all very badass and escaped. I don't remember too many details, but I remember I was some kind of a firestarter, as in I could actually heat things up to the point of combustion. And my girlfriend could stop things in mid motion, kind of like freezing them in time. And Gambit, Rogue, Wolverine, and Storm were all in it.
11. What’s something that makes you happy?
This is going to be obvious and cheesy, but writing makes me happy. I haven't had the time to do it regularly for a while now, and that's especially sucked lately. I'm not big on "talking about it" when something makes me sad but being able to write helps so much. Whether it's writing about something you can relate to or writing about something completely separate from my life so that I can spark a more positive mood in myself, it's so much more soothing than anything else I've tried.
1. Which TV show have you watched the most of?
2. What was your favorite past time as a child?
3. What was the worst fight you've had with your parents?
4. Who is your least favorite fictional character?
5. What is one thing you wished you could improve about yourself (and it's NOT allowed to be related to body image)?
6. Name a key characteristic that your significant other has to have.
7. If you were to name a child after a fictional character or historical figure, which would it be?
8. Who was your first crush (celebrity or real life)?
9. If you had to choose one other culture to be born and raised in, which would it be?
10. What is your favorite sad song?
11. What is/are your irrational fear(s)?
Ugh i'm totally the same way with my crush. I actually wound up changing his ringtone and vibrate thing on my phone so I know exactly when it's him and my hopes aren't completely crushed when its my regular ringtone
That's actually a good idea, it may end up having to come down to that cause it's stressing me out haha ughh
my best friend has 2000+ followers and literally I don't understand why she doesn't post more selfies because she's a total babe and all her followers would love it. I just know.
Hehehe this goober left this on my phone.
Getting Caught in the Rain - companion piece to If You Like Pina Coladas
She asked me, "Son, when I grow old, Will you buy me a house of gold? And when your father turns to stone, Will you take care of me?" I will make you queen of everything you see, I'll put you on the map, I'll cure you of disease.
