tepid-tea said: I just got home from seeing this movie. I wanted to cry when Harry died.
Oh friend, I’m sorry.
it is the most shocking part of the whole movie. Because it shouldn’t have happened. He’s the hero and he’s just triumphed over the obstacle that the villain put in front of him. Valentine cheated. he broke his own rules and he shouldn’t have been able to do it.
That being said. This movie leaves a lot of open ended deaths. They have just never ever heard of first aid or... any real medical interventions.
It has been pointed out to me that a grenade to the stomach is a pretty sure death, but i would call your attention to the “drowned” woman on the first night of training. I think it is Merlin, but it might be Harry who says that she works for Kingsman in another department, and that she was a test. But no one even tries to check and see if she has a pulse after she drowns. Nothing at all is done to help her.
And yeah, Harry is out in the real world and Valentine isn’t a test. But... no one tries to see if he is actually dead. Even Gazelle just sort of glances at him. People survive bullets to the face. Its possible. We can hope, and we can say... “I recognize your decision, but given that it is a stupid ass decision I have chosen to ignore it.”
I am firmly in the camp that Harry is not dead. I am less firmly in the camp that Harry will return to full duties and functions.
But that man is not dead.
basically. I found a unicorn! an internet friend that lives close enough we could actually VISIT and be real-space friends

tierny-who said: YAY!! My scarf is worn!! it must have been really cold to bring out that sucker
tepid-tea said: My sister was complaining that it was quite cold out there. I think its mostly just >with the wind that it feels more cold.
Yes, it was totally the wind that made it suck. although just the general temperature was chilly (only about one degree which for the rest of canada is nothing.)
I was wearing the scarf in December too though T. just forgot to take pictures... and then this time I was like ALL THE KNITWEARS
tepid-tea submitted: Earl Grey and Chai :3
earl grey:how do you take your tea?
Herbal teas, including my favourite lemon mango tea with ALL THE HONEY and sometimes a bit of ginger.
chai:what do you order at starbucks? I don't. I drink JJ Bean black no sugar... I don't think i would be able to handle plain black starbucks... I used to have carmel machiattos at starbucks... nearly a thousand years ago when it was the only coffee place near where i worked.
