Earth C Career Headcanons- Trolls

Karkat- Following in his ancestor's footsteps, he ends up being heavily involved in Earth C's politics, working towards creating a future for the planet to ensure no one has to ever go through the fear and suffering again that millions of Trolls experienced on Alternia. Raises 3 kids with his husband Dave, all named Tony, Jenny and Poppy.

Aradia- She still focuses on her Maid Of Time duties and occasionally flies off to check on the timelines and make sure Paradox Space is stable, but other than that, she focuses on being a mom to her only son, Lummen Captor. Married to Sollux.

Tavros- Wanting to help the younger generation be confident in themselves, something he lacked for most of his life, he decides to write his own children's books and fairytales to help inspire kids the way Pupa Pan and other fairytales always inspired him when he was a kid. Has one son, Pupa Makara, with Gamzee, his husband.

Sollux- Deciding to put all his tech skills to good use, he ends up building and leading his very own tech company, CaptorWare, where he ends up becoming the CEO of said company and leading a very productive and successful life. Has one son, Lummen, with Aradia, his wife.

Nepeta- As an homage to her former life on Beforus, she ends up becoming a well known news reporter for Earth C. She often shares gossip regarding celebrity relationships, but also focuses her reporting on the more important topics when needed. Has 3 daughters with her husband Equius named Sarabi, Nala and Luna.

Kanaya- She still focuses on helping with Earth C's mother Grub, but has also fully embraced her love of fashion to the point of choosing to dedicate a good portion of her working life into making outfits which get shown off at some of Earth C's best runway shows, and then sold at fashion shops all around the planet. Married to Rose, with plans for them to eventually have kids of their own.

Terezi- Having maintained her passion for law and justice all her life, she becomes a Court Judge, making sure there is no room whatsoever for corruption in the court of law. Married to Feferi.

Vriska- Having still maintained her skills at manipulation, but choosing to put them to a somewhat better use, she pursues a career in law, and becomes a successful litigator. This leads to some interesting interactions between her and Terezi whenever they're involved in the same case. Married to John and raising 2 kids with him, Nick and Anne.

Equius- After years of therapy to help with his multitude of issues, and still maintaining a love of horses, or "hoof beasts", he opens his own ranch where he takes care of multiple horses, and where he also gives riding lessons to anyone seeking a therapy horse. He pretty much goes from an uptight Troll with a concerning nobility complex, to a laid-back cowboy Troll. Married to Nepeta, and raising Sarabi, Nala and Luna with her.

Gamzee- Still holding on to his religious beliefs but wanting to approach it in a more peaceful manner than he did in the past, he opens his own church dedicated to said beliefs, where he leads as the church's pastor. Married to Tavros, and raising Pupa Makara with him.

Eridan- Fully embracing his love of magic and wizards, he becomes a successful author for a fantasy series about wizards and witches which becomes really popular among Earth C's literature. Is basically considered the Stephen King of the fantasy genre, and there are rumors he might be working with a movie studio to have his books made into a movie series. Has long since let go of his nobility complex and has grown a lot as a person, although as he has gotten older, he has been noted to have developed somewhat of a conservative attitude, likely as a result from becoming a father to 2 children he'll do everything to protect. Is married to Rosali, and has 2 kids with her, Serenity and Daniel.

Feferi- Had decided to let go of her role as Princess in favor of Earth C's democratic government, and now works as a school teacher. Despite how rambunctious some kids can be, she loves every minute of her job, wanting to have as much impact on her students as she possibly can. Most of her students love her, especially because of her efforts to make learning fun. Married to Terezi.

Rosali- Runs a popular bakery, where she still reads Tarot for other customers, and also sells a variety of charms and healing remedies, having wanted to do something with her life where she could combine both her love of baking and her skills as a witch. Thanks to the amount of employees she has though, she's still able to make a lot of time for her family. Overall, just like everyone else, Rosali is the happiest she has ever been in her life. Has 2 kids with Eridan, Serenity and Daniel..... Although sooner or later, they might be expecting a 3rd child.

Homestuck Shadowblood AU Timeline;

Since I'm constantly posting random oneshots of scenes from my AU, I thought it would help if I made this timeline and displayed the chronological order of each post. This will be updated whenever I make a new pose related to this AU, so I'll be pinning this post as soon as I post it.

Synopsis for the Shadowblood AU: What if there was a 13th Troll who joined the other 12 when Sgrub started? What if none of the deaths from Act 5 ever happened, and everyone got to live and work together throughout the game, bettering their relationships in the process? What if there was another threat besides Lord English, The Condesce, and Jack Noir, and this threat was connected to the mysterious 13th Troll? What if the Amporas had a history with a mysterious bloodline that was kept hidden from The Condesce for centuries? What if all 13 Trolls all got to learn the story of their ancestors and the connection all of them share, and knowing this history would actually end up saving them?.... Finally, what if Karkat wasn't the only mutant Troll on the team, and this second mutant possessed a power that if not carefully tamed, could very easily end all existence as they know it? *This immediately silences everyone on the meteor as they all look up at her, including Eridan and a very confused and annoyed Sollux, who is still matesprits with Feferi at this time..... The awkward silence is disrupted by the sound of Feferi snoring while she sleeps in a nearby horn pile*

Terezi:...... Uh..... You know..... Like you love the beach, or a good book........ or the beach.......

Nickname headcanons

- After becoming matesprits, Eridan comes up with the name "Moonstone" for Rosali; This is because of how much Rosali reminds him of the moon, from her calming, serene personality, to how she uses moon emojis to replace Cs when talking on Trollian, but also because when Eridan and Rosali first met about a sweep (or 3 human years) prior to the comic, Eridan could swear Rosali had a glow to her that matched the moon. As far as Eridan is concerned, Rosali has carried that same glow with her for a very long time.

- Upon learning about Karkat's past dilemma with his blood color and how he tried so long to hide it from everyone, Dave at some point comes up with the nickname "Cherry Bomb" for him, it being his subtle way of flirting with Karkat, and also trying to make him feel less self conscious about having a blood color that deemed him a mutant on Alternia. Karkat is very much annoyed by this nickname at first, but as time passes and he and Dave get closer, eventually Karkat comes to accept the nickname a little more, even growing to actually liking it now whenever Dave calls him Cherry Bomb. Course, Karkat eventually discovers the song this actually came from, "Cherry Bomb" by The Runaways, and because I headcanon he would have a fondness for rock music, Karkat comes to like the nickname a little more because of this. Years later on Earth C when Dave and Karkat eventually get married, you can bet they have that very song play at least once.

- At some point after Gamzee and Eridan's initial rampages, which in this AU everyone survives, Equius and Nepeta eventually become matesprits, Equius having secretly had feelings for Nepeta for a while now, and Nepeta soon realizing her own feelings for Equius some time after accepting that Karkat will never feel red for her. As their relationship blossoms from pale into a deep red and they both eventually admit their feelings to each other, Equius starts to call Nepeta his "Lioness", a nickname both representing her overall catlike traits, but also her strong fighting spirit, both from having lived in a cave and survived off of hunting for years, and also from all the trials she faced in Sgrub and all the ways she grew in strength during said trials. Because of the overall strength and grace Equius has come to see in Nepeta as they've grown closer, in many ways, shes come to remind him of a beautiful Lioness, a creature that carries herself with that very grace as she does what she must both to survive and to help protect the pride of lions that is their team.

- After Kanaya and Rose become a couple, Rose starts to come up with a variety of nicknames for her new girlfriend, but her favorite one so far is Bella. Not because of their shared interest in Twilight, but because the name Bella, in the Italian language, actually means "Beautiful", and often times Rose likes to remind Kanaya of how beautiful she is to her by calling her "Bella" as much as she can. (Quick shout out to HD Carlton for inspiring this idea while I've been reading Does It Hurt?)

- Sollux has a nickname both for Aradia and for Feferi; During his time dating Feferi, he often refers to her as "Princess", moreso as a term of endearment than a way of actually referring to her title as Alternia's Princess. While Feferi in the past has had doubts about her capabilities of being the Empress Alternia needs before the planet was destroyed, that nickname from Sollux in many ways has given her something to love about being a Princess, because she's not just the Princess of a now deceased planet, but also a Princess to Sollux's heart. As for Aradia, during the time they were first dating before she became a ghost, Sollux loved to refer to Aradia as his "Spooky Queen", because of her love and connection to all things related to the supernatural.

- Course, after a while, Sollux and Feferi decide to just be friends, as Sollux realizes he's still not completely over Aradia, and overall he has a lot on his plate that he needs to deal with before he decides he's ready for a relationship again, one of those things being an unhealthy dependency towards painkillers to make his migraines as well as all the voices of the dead go away. However, after Sburb/Sgrub finally ends and everyone makes a home for themselves on Earth C, it isn't long before Aradia has finally returned from the Dream Bubbles, and she and Sollux become matesprits again not long after that. Aradia has gone back to being his "Spooky Queen" by that point, and as for Feferi? Well, she and Terezi had eventually become moirails during the game at one point, which then blossomed into them becoming matesprits. By that point, Terezi has given Feferi the nickname "Ariel", after the Disney Princess, a nickname that Feferi adores because of how much she loves The Little Mermaid, and also because she knows Terezi loves the character's bright red hair too.

- After all the characters are reunited for the big battle against Lord English, and after they all win and settle on Earth C when the game finally ends, John and Vriska start a happy matespritship with each other, the both of them surprising everyone at just how compatible they are. Eventually, because John knows how much Vriska admires her ancestor, who was a pirate, and because Vriska has learned a lot about female pirates in human history who she's also come to admire (including Anne Bonny, who they both eventually name their daughter after in the future), John begins referring to Vriska as his "Pirate Queen". Being referred to by this nickname by John is one of the only times you will see Vriska get visibly flustered about anything.

- As for Gamzee and Tavros? Well, it should be noted that I'm still working out all the details of Gamzee's arc in this AU, but basically there does come a point where he is torn between his duties to Lord English and the clown cult he followed for so long, and also his ties to all his friends on the meteor, including Tavros, his flushed crush. Despite how close Gamzee and Tavros still are and despite knowing that Gamzee has feelings for him, Tavros for a long time is very unsure of how he himself feels for Gamzee, especially knowing how easily he could snap and hurt someone, just like what happened before, and Tavros doesn't know if he could truly be with someone who might one day seriously hurt or kill someone....... this doesn't stop Gamzee from occasionally making his feelings known to Tavros however, to the point he starts referring to Tavros in a very flirtatious manner as "Harlequin". As you can imagine, this nickname does tend to make Tavros pretty flustered whenever he's referred to as a Harlequin by Gamzee.

I randomly thought of this headcanon earlier today while my stepmother, stepsister and I were browsing the jewelry section at Belk xD

Once everyone settles on Earth C and begins to start their new lives, its no secret that all of those who become matesprits by that point eventually get married. After their weddings, each person ends up wearing a ring that represents their matesprit, in the sense that the gem on their ring is typically the color of their matesprit's blood, and in some cases, said gem is shaped like their matesprit's sign.

Examples;

AraSol- Sollux wears a burgundy colored garnet ring shaped like Aradia's sign, the Aries symbol, while Aradia wears a yellow diamond ring shaped like Sollux's symbol, the Gemini symbol.

GamTav- Gamzee wears a bronzite ring shaped like Tavros' sign, the Taurus symbol, while Tavros wears an amethyst ring shaped like Gamzee's sign, the Capricorn symbol

EquiNep- Equius wears a peridot ring shaped like Nepeta's sign, the Leo symbol, while Nepeta wears a sapphire ring shaped like Equius' sign, the Sagittarius symbol.

TereFef- Terezi wears a deep fuschia kunzite ring shaped like Feferi's sign, the Pisces symbol, while Feferi wears a teal zircon ring shaped like Terezi's sign, the Libra symbol.

EriRosa- Eridan wears a black Moonstone ring shaped like Rosali's sign, the Saturn symbol, while Rosali wears a violet spinel ring shaped like Eridan's sign, the Aquarius symbol.

Davekat- Both Dave and Karkat wear ruby colored gems on their rings, Karkat's being a regular shaped stone while Dave's stone is shaped like Karkat's sign, the Cancer symbol.

Rosemary- Kanaya wears a regular shaped pink diamond on her ring to represent Rose, while Rose wears a jadeite stone on her ring, shaped like Kanaya's sign, the Virgo symbol.

JohnVris- Both John and Vriska's rings possess a ceruleite gemstone, with only John's ring possessing Vriska's sign, the Scoripo symbol.

However, after Dave and Karkat have begun a matespritship, and after Kanaya and Rose have begun theirs as well, there eventually comes a point where both Karkat and Kanaya decide to change a part of their lifestyles, in the sense that they both decide to abandon quadrants altogether and just focus on their relationships with Dave and Rose. The reason I bring this up is because those that have moirails by the time they arrive on Earth C also decide to wear rings to represent their moirails, alongside the rings that represent their matesprits, to symbolize the strong bonds they have with both their moirails and their matesprits.

Examples;

- While Tavros wears his Capricorn ring to represent his marriage to Gamzee, he also wears a black obsidian Saturn-shaped ring to represent his moiraillegiance to Rosali. Same with Rosali; While she wears her Aquarius ring to represent her marriage to Eridan, she also wears a bronzite Taurus-shaped ring to represent her bond with Tavros.

- Despite Karkat and Kanaya choosing to fully commit themselves to their relationships with Dave and Rose and abandon all other quadrants, Vriska still chooses to maintain a moiraillegiance to Terezi while being fully committed to her matespritship with John as well. Because of this, alongside her ring to represent her marriage to John, Vriska also wears a teal zircon Libra-shaped ring to represent her moiraillegiance to Terezi. Likewise, alongside her deep fuschia kunzite Pisces-shaped ring to represent her marriage to Feferi, Terezi also wears a ceruleite Scoripo-shaped ring to represent her bond with Vriska.
