Escape from Wonderland 2012

Decorations: A+ Music (Artists' livesets:) A+ My plur/attitude: A+++++ Other attendees plur/attitude: D to D+ Blame it on the hype and I guess different crowd of people at Escape this year, but the scene has definitely changed. No one had kandi, no one talked to each other and no one danced. People were just plain ass rude and smug. They were there for ALL the wrong reasons. Even all my dancing around and talking and interacting and giving of water to people didn't really get through to them. I had fun on my own behalf, but this was definitely more like a really epic party rather than a magical wonderland.

Gotta be selective about events from now on. I'm just glad the people I go with will always have the right attitude and concept of raves. :) Was definitely worth it to rage with my bestie!

TAKE ME BACK

I don't have all the heart and energy to document my weekend, but here are some highlights. - Raged 8 hours at Queen's Domain - Aly & Fila playing Good For Me - LEGITIMATELY CRYING INTO MY FRIENDS' CHESTS - Singing Concrete Angel (about 4 times) at the top of our lungs - Screaming "You'll FIND YOURSELF YOU'LL FIND YOURSELF!' - That screen. Those lights. That music. That ASOT - Waving to Armin when he came on screen to cue in Arty - Getting trance blue balled everytime Gareth teased "Sanctuary" or when Arty kept teasing "Kate"   MET AMAZING UNIQUE PEOPLE I may never see again. - Mei*, from San Diego who we named Mayflower n_n - Jeremy, a marine who drove from Arizona and came to the first rave of his life - Victor, a 40 year old mexican guy who said this was the most amazing thing he's ever witnessed in his life (went on about the beauty, peace and love) - Chris from huntington raving for his first time :D - SO MUCH MORE.  I went with my loves and I'm so glad I endured all the bullshit last week and all the complications and frustrations for this one day. So fucking worth it. Worth it for life. Pictures and videos to come. <3
