Yesterday, four hikers went up, up, up to the tippy top of Mt. Magnificent, and, what-a-day it was! Today I'm grateful for;

1. fog hanging in the valley. It's so pretty to see it while driving down the hill.

2. water coolers that dispense both hot and cold water.

3. lower calorie options for coffee.

4. padded desk chairs.

5.Ocean Shores. It's one of my favorite places. The first thing I always do when I get there is drive to the beach and roll down the window so I can hear and smell the ocean. It's also the last thing I do before I leave.

6. game night with friends.

7.clocks that wind with a key.

8. Sirius radio channels that are divided into decades. I usually listen to 70's on 7.

9. pretty tea cups with matching saucers.

10. Ivars fast food restaurants. I don't eat there that often but it's a Seattle icon and it makes me happy that it's still around. 

11. my high school yearbooks. I have all three of them.

12. Former President Clinton's MEPA act that let's families of any race foster and adopt children of any race.

13. for my mom and grandma's necklace's.

14. the beauty of the snow in the Cascades that I can see while I'm driving. We always called the first snow of the Fall, termination dust because it signaled the end of construction for the year. I wonder if it's called the same in other states or if that was just an Alaskan thing.

15. the scent of vanilla.
