why are terminator fanboys so against the robots expressing human emotion like did you forget the second movie?? did you forget it was established they’re capable of learning and capable of feeling things like sorrow through their experiences and interactions with humans? maybe not the human equivalent of those emotions but an approximation of such which doesn’t make it any less valid

sarah literally ends the second movie with “if a machine can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too” like that’s not what happens in dark fate with carl

if you wanna watch a terminator do nothing except shoot the shit out of things go rewatch the first movie then!! fuck!!! personally i love it when robots learn to be more than just what they’re built for
