I feel really bad for termiteking9,,, I’ve been playing some of his games lately and he put up a warning on all of his creations talking about the upcoming Roblox update this month and how he probably will stop making games on the platform after that because he’s a solo indie dev

I didn’t know this but he has been making games since the early days of the platform (not THAT early) and it saddens me a lot that his gears project will get canceled if the update isn’t reverted so seeing this kinda blew the mood for me

and ngl what he said about Roblox is SO true in the same warning he explains what Roblox is doing and how they hate their own community and do everything to try to silence us which is what I think is happening rn cuz I’ve not seen many people raging over by far the most ridiculous and greedy update in the platform’s history

Btw if you don’t know what gears are it’s a bunch of games inspired on yume Nikki iirc they’re REALLY underrated you can probably find all of them on termiteking9’s profile they’re really beautiful games but I’ve not played all of em,,, I genuinely got emotional over some of them LOL

Robox

I was playing through this puzzle game w/ these two people who still had text chat and we'd got into the practice of playing charades to instruct each other what to do (pointing in a direction and pressing W and S to point, jumping at certain beats to get attention, etc) and we got stuck on a part because something that was supposedly meant to destroy an obstacle simply didn't want to work. so i went away from it and started walking repeatedly into a wall in the hopes that it would convery frustration. it did not work. instead, they started slamming their heads into the same wall. I love roblox.

(aka. friends and i found a puzzle game that was actually a horror and we spent the past 2 and a half days figuring out how to beat it)
