Kinda long rant/vent thing. Sorry if it doesn't make sense.
As a preface, let me begin by saying that I don't mind sharing my things. If I see that the things that I buy are useful to people, that's great, and I'm happy to be helpful. However, what I don't appreciate is when those people decide to get greedy with the things that I buy and start hoarding them for themselves, especially when the people that do it have consistently treated me poorly in the past.
The tl;dr is that my friend's bitch sister who doesn't fucking like me for no reason is more than happy to take shit that I buy but doesn't want to help buy it.
So my friend's sister and her boyfriend (both in their 50s) live down here with us. And this woman does not like me - for absolutely no reason. I've done nothing to her; as a matter of fact, I've tried to be nice to her and bought her things, but she's always so fucking rude to me. Supposedly she's jealous of me for no reason - or so I've been told; she swears up and down that everyone wants to steal her boyfriend, who's been in and out of a job and (no offense) isn't any of our types.
Anyway, they've been taking care of Blossom, the new kitten, and keeping her in their room. The problem is shortly before, they were letting Buttercup (an adult cat who's been hanging around here for about a year) in as well to keep cool and to actually eat, and apparently Blossom hissed at her. So they sent Buttercup back outside and put her back on dry food - which Buttercup doesn't like - and started giving the wets to Blossom.
So I felt bad for Buttercup and started buying canned food for her and kept it in my car, because I knew some bullshit was gonna transpire if I didn't. And also because I didn't think it was right to deprive her just because there was a new baby.
Eventually, however, I got tired of having to go out to my car to get it, so I set it on the stoop near Buttercup’s food bowl and water fountain thingy - that way, I could just pop a can open and set it down for her, then throw the old can away and replace it.
I started with 40, and when I decided to move them out of the car like a week or so later, I had 24. No biggie. I was going at a decent pace.
However, I started very quickly running out because they'd go grab cans. Wouldn't even ask, of course; they just started taking from her stash.
Well, I went to grab some last night, and as soon as I got home, they went out there and helped themselves to six cans for the kitten - who, mind you, is still very small. She can barely eat one can by herself in one day.
I didn't know until my friend came out of her room mad as hell and went to take the cans back from them. (Which I appreciated, but holy shit.)
Few updates on the back pain I've been having. (Semi-long post)
1) went to urgent care yesterday and they couldn't find anything. Assumed it was period cramps. Gave me ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer and sent me on my way. They Did Not Work.
2) went to the hospital earlier. They gave me an X-ray and an ultrasound to make sure nothing was wrong with me. Also couldn't find anything, but they suspected that if I did have a kidney stone that it could have already passed. Gave me a different pain med and sent me on my way. Five hours later, I get a message saying there was a sign of infection in my sample.
I love being AFAB /s
I tried to tell them this didn't feel like cramps to me - they hurt a lot, but they don't stay localized in my back.
Mistook someone's second page for an impersonator and reached out to them about it, for them to tell me it's their second page.
I'm gonna die of embarrassment fuck.
I told them I was sorry for the confusion, but even so 😭
I guess I'm used to people stealing content and passing it off as their own that it made me wary or something idk. But I still feel like a stupid asshole.
I went swimming in our backyard pool yesterday and was fine until some time after I got out.
Now, it hurts to bend down and stand for extended periods of time. I can barely move without wanting to cry in agony. Putting pressure on it to alleviate the pain isn't helping either.
