This is for this Valentine’s Day ask meme!

25:Do you believe love can conquer all things?

First off, hey Steve! Been a while since we talked (anxiety/depression are mighty bitches indeed) but still keep you in my thoughts on the daily <3

And fuck yes, so far in my life love hasn’t always been the thing to pull us through, but my s/o and I have pulled through some unimaginably impossible situations and times and, in the end, our bond has grown so much stronger for it, even when we ourselves are tested and tried. More than that though, I think if you’re really in love with someone, that means that you get along with them so well and care about them so much that you’re willing to do what it takes to stand by them and stand with them no matter what happens- even if you break up or part ways, that love shouldn’t be something that changes. So yeah, I think love, being a summary term for the epitome of positive and healthy bonds between people, can conquer any problems put in its path.

another dipper name possibility, off of Gabel... Gabriel? Often shortened to Gabe or Gay which for a 12 year old would definitely be something he'd be hesitant to go by with his friends yeah?

Well its similar to Mabel certainly, and thus has some chance being correct, but aside from its connections with Gabel and Gable, the significance of the name seems to be a bit weird.

Gabriel, of course, is commonly meant to mean the messenger angel in the Christian Religion. Dipper is a good guy, but nothing about him screams “angelic”, or “messenger like”

But that doesn’t mean its totally unlikely. Bill Cipher is unquestionably a demon, and is referred to such as a demon in universe. Having Dipper’s real name be revealed as Gabriel would bring to mind an Angels vs Demons kind of vibe.

But I kinda feel thats a bit of a stretch, but then again, who knows.
