Pada panjangnya episode dan babak demi babak, aku memilihnya. Hendaknya bukan karena di dalam dirinya aku menemukanmu. Doaku, demikian.
Akhirnya aku melabuhkan hati. Sebuah keputusan besar setelah gagal acap kali menghampiri.
Keraguan itu masih bersarang. Ketakutan itu masih ada. Luka yang basah pun masih menancap di sanubari.
Namun aku memilih meniti jalan ini, mungkin tidak akan sempurna hanya mengupayakan yang terbaik dalam setiap prosesnya.
Nanti, jika pada masanya terselip penyesalan kecil dalam diriku semoga alasannya bukan karena kenapa dulu aku tidak bersabar dan memilihmu menjadi teman seperjalananku.
