Day 20: Cosplay You've Learned The Most From This is another difficult choice, but certainly the one that took our craftsmanship techniques in a whole new direction was the Terra Cotta Warrior costume we made for @childrensmuseum, and which I wore for the exhibit opening. I'd done some small-scale moldmaking and casting before, but this was the first time I'd done a full-body suit or used silicone in this kind of quantity. It also taught me a lot about the need for building ventilation and hydration into costumes, since I could only be in the suit for about 20-30 minutes before I started to overheat... 😅 I'm the one in the middle. The costume is made of Dragon Skin from @smoothon #shepropchallenge #30daychallenge #cosplay #thechildrensmuseum #terracottawarrior #silicone https://www.instagram.com/p/CFXWAxQDAnT/?igshid=1jumuam9yptei
