Terrell: You know what I mean.

Terrell: I heard about the merger. Does this have something to do with that?

Again the desire to lie came bubbling up until it all frothed out in sinful haste. 

Maya: If i’m going to be student body president this year I’ve got to appeal to both sides. 

Terrell: [Shocked] Miesha is okay with you running against her?

[Maya’s face visibly falls]

Terrell: I’ll take that as a no. 

Maya: It’ll be fine…

Terrell: Riight.
