Y2K (1999)

My rating: 7/10

Rather entertaining mix of 80s action shenanigans and 90s hacker hijinks, carried competently by cast, crew, and a surprisingly solid script. The whole thing feels pretty MacGyver, and I like that show, so I enjoyed it. 

Gotta say though, the vaguely melancholy jazz score was a bit confusing. Not bad, really, just very weird and out of place.

Earthstorm (2006)

My rating: 6/10

I mean, yes, it's basically an even sillier knockoff of Armageddon, but on the other hand, it didn't leave me feeling like I needed a shower the way Bay's movies tend to, so I'm forced to consider this the superior movie. Plus Dirk Benedict is there being a smarmy asshole, so that's fun.

Ok I swear this is the last time I'm redesigning this kid's ninja wear. I drew a lot of stuff Friday night and decided to color them today. But I covered Terry's head with a hood and used a Finja inspired scarf. I like it.
