Ed Burns put his gf at the time into his second (?) movie and she was AW-FUL. No idea how long he dated her though and can't recall her name.
Right, yes. I just googled her. I haven’t seen She’s The One for quite some time but yeah, I can’t remember her being very good. Maxine Bahns is her name. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Now, I feel like watching that movie again but like then again not replay though. I really didn’t like that guy that played his brother, he definitely made an impression on me.
Okay it's official, I like Kim Fischer.
In fact, I love her. I love what she represents. Let me explain.
Jane will never be with her. He could never be with her. She looks like his wife. He would be reminded of all the good times, yes, but also all the pain he went through when she died. It would hurt him to be with her so much, and besides, he's fallen too in love with Teresa anyway. He's a changed man. Getting with Kim would symbolize going backwards, and correct me if I'm wrong, but she is supposed to symbolize moving on.
I think she reminds Patrick of Angela, not just her face, but the way she acts. So calm, well centered, at peace with herself. He is attracted to her, obviously, but notice how he wasn't hitting on her? It will not happen.
Kim turning into a regular character is really exciting for me, because, and I know it sounds crazy, but it's like he has Angela back in a way. I think she will be the force that ultimately pushes Jane and Lisbon to reveal their feelings for one another. Jane will look at Kim and think of Angela, but it wont hurt him anymore, because he will know that if there is such thing as an afterlife, his wife would approve of his choice, Teresa Lisbon. <3
So yeah, my theory of her representing Angela is kinda weird, but I think that Emily Swallow and Maxine Bahns look exactly alike, that can't be a coincidence.
