Summary:

After the creation of dark magic leads to the murder of the dragon king and prince, elves and humans begin to hate each other. When moonshadow elves plan to assassinate the human king of Katolis, one rogue elf (Rayla) and the two princes (Callum and Ezran) discover the unhatched egg of the dragon prince still lives. Together, they team up to return it to the world of magic and restore relations between the humans and elves.

Recommendation/Rating:

7/10: The show by all means isn’t bad, and if you’re looking for queer and disabled representation this show does very well. Especially in the character of Amaya who is a deaf lesbian and skilled combatant. The character arcs are well written, the magic is interesting, and the art is beautiful. Animation is a little rough early on, and is in my personal opinion not able to hold attention well enough for its length. I never finished this show because I lost interest at the time skip, which is when Terry is introduced. I don’t know if he gets more developed later, but what I’ve seen of his character he’s written a bit shallow and mainly just functions as Claudia’s Woke Boyfriend rather than his own person.
